Shorecrest softball team takes 9-2 home victory over Lynnwood Friday into Tuesday home game with Mountlake Terrace

The Shorecrest softball team follows a 9-2 home victory over Lynnwood Friday with a Tuesday home game with Mountlake Terrace.

The Scots take a 4-3 Wesco 3A record (8-3 overall) into the game with Mountlake Terrace. Shorecrest goes into the game without starting pitcher and power hitter Amanda Hartley, who is out for the season with a back injury.

Shorecrest and Lynnwood both had five hits in Shorecrest’s 9-2 victory Friday. Sophie Knutsen had 4 RBI on two doubles in three at bats for Shorecrest. Amanda Eshelman was the winning pitcher for the Scots.
