The Shorewood boys’ basketball team took a 58-49 home victory over Everett Thursday into games at Glacier Peak Friday and Oak Harbor Saturday.
In Shorewood’s 58-49 victory over Everett, the Thunderbirds led 16-6 after the first quarter, 26-20 at halftime and 42-35 after three quarters before extending the lead slightly in the final period. Center Josh Hawkinson led the T-birds with 17 points followed by Gage Carroll with 14, Semir Kadiric with 11, Taylor Freeman with 9 and Ben Andrews with 7. The Shorewood junior varsity defeated Everett 41-40.
The Thunderbird “C” team won 58-49.
