Avery, a sophomore from Garfield High School, scored 36 points in two games, posted 16 rebounds, 4 steals and 18 assists as well.
SCC went 2-0 in those games, beating Skagit Valley College 114-105 and Olympic College, 116-99.
SCC is 8-5 overall and 2-0 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC plays at North Seattle Community College on Wednesday at 7:30 PM and then travels to Bellingham, WA on Saturday to play Whatcom CC in a 7:00 pm game.
