What Happened at the Metropolitan King County Council

At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:
- Proclaimed January 11, 2011 as Human Trafficking Awareness Day in King County.
- Honored the vision and work of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by proclaiming the month of January as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. month in King County.
- Unanimously adopted an ordinance relating to salaries of County Councilmembers, providing for the reduction of annual increases to the compensation paid to Councilmembers (Ordinance 2011-0473).
- Held for one week a motion adopting the King County 2012 State Legislative Agenda (Motion 2011-0496).
