Freshman Mireya Saucedo from Edmonds-Woodway High School scored in the first half for SCC but the Dolphins let victory slip away in the 83rd minute as HCC tied it up. Saucedo scored on an assist from Lauren Schoonover in the 18th minute.
SCC is now 3-2-3 on the season, 3-1-1 in the NWAACC Northern Region.
SCC plays at Bellevue College on Saturday at Noon. Highline is now 2-4-1 on the season.
