Update: Jacob's Well building has a roof and windows and a corporate sponsor will match new donations

Jacob's Well is in the Ballinger neighborhood of Shoreline

Vision House reports that the Jacob's Well complex being built in Shoreline to house homeless women and their children has made significant progress.

Thanks to hundreds of volunteers and dozens of churches, companies and individual donors, the first of the two Jacob's Well buildings in Shoreline has been framed, the roof is on and the windows have been installed.

"Since we build our facilities debt-free, our next goal is to raise $327,000 for the fire sprinkler system and the electrical and heating systems. You can make a donation to Jacob's Well and it will be matched dollar for dollar up to $56,000 by Campbell Nelson Motors of Edmonds."
Jacob's Well will house 20 families of homeless women and children, with support services on-site.

The next major fundraising event will be the Building Hope Dessert Fundraiser on October 15,
