Shorewood’s boys’ and girls’ cross country teams both finished first with Shorecrest third in a four-way meet Thursday at McCollum Park south of Everett. Mountlake Terrace was second in both events, with host Mariner trailing.

Erin Johnson and Charlee Linton of Shorewood finished 1-2 in the girls’ race to lead the Thunderbirds to victory.
Abiel Te Kie of Shorecrest won the boys’ race, with Colin Wilkins, Keenan Stephens, Michael Sutherland and David Ball of Shorewood finishing 2-3-4-5 to lead the T-birds.
Shorecrest next competes Thursday, Oct. 14 at the North County Invitational at Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville. Both teams compete in the Wesco 3A Championships Saturday, Oct. 23.
