Destinations: Fishermen's Fall Festival at Fishermen's Terminal Saturday, September 25

The Fishermen's Fall Festival is Saturday, September 25 from 11 am to 6 pm on the Boardwalk of Fishermen's Terminal, 1900 West Nickerson St, Seattle.  Free.

F/V Wizard Captain Keith Colburn and other stars of the Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" will help raise money for the Fishermen's Memorial by shucking crab and signing autographs in the Deadliest Catch Seafood Booth. The freshly shucked crab will be used in Deadliest Catch Crab Cocktail, whose sales directly benefit the memorial.

There's the Reptile Man and J.P. Patches, and multiple activity booths for the kids. The entertainment stage showcases Japanese drummers Inochi Taiko, local oyster band Lost Varnets, and country band Knut Bell.

The demonstration stage will feature seafood demonstrations, survival suit races, salmon fillet challenge, oyster slurp, lutefisk eating contests and hiphop.

The Wizard is moored at the dock. A replica of a 1909 boat, helicopter demonstration, and sea scout open house complete the events.  Download the schedule from the webpage.
