The event is at the north end of campus between the 2400 and 2600 Bldgs

Bring your gardening questions to the Deep Roots Garden Plant Sale. 

Judy Griesel, a local Master Gardener and a member of Diggin' Shoreline, is joining us at an information table. She is happy to see what we are doing at Shoreline and is happy to support us. 

Select from natives, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, perennials and more. A selection of birdhouses will also be on sale. 

Money raised will support efforts to provide food to the local food bank, Hopelink, over the summer.

Don't miss the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden's Mother’s Day Plant Sale and Open House this weekend

The famous Mother's Day Plant Sale is this weekend at Kruckeberg Gardens on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday May 6-8, 10am-5pm.

At the Garden's annual spring sale you’ll find a huge selection of native plants, spring bulbs and ephemerals, and unusual exotics perfect for your garden. The Garden staff saves choice plants to bring out at the sale, and with hundreds of species available you are sure to find something great.

Since the sale is located within the Garden, you can see how your plants will look as they mature. All proceeds support operation of the Garden and its educational opportunities for the community.

Plus, enjoy expanded kids activities this year on May 7 and 8. Bring your kids to the Garden's Sprout Spot where they can dig in the dirt, create, learn about plants, and make a present for mom. Enjoy scavenger hunts in the Garden and more.

The Garden is located at 20312 15th Ave NW in Shoreline. Due to limited parking at the Garden, all driving visitors are asked to use the off-site parking locations and shuttle service provided on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shuttle is fast and convenient, and all riders will receive a coupon to use at the sale. Thank you for your cooperation!

LFP Garden Club yearly Plant Sale Saturday, April 30

The Lake Forest Park Garden Club is having its yearly Plant Sale on Saturday, April 30 at the Lake Forest Park Elementary School 185th and 37th in LFP.

The sale starts at 9am and continues until 2pm or when plants are gone. (It is suggested that you get there early).

There will be a wide variety of outdoor plants that come from yards in Lake Forest Park area, so are proven to be good for this area.
Prices are very reasonable .. best deals in the area.

Garage and Native Plant sale Sunday May 9, 9 am to 3 pm

On Sunday, Go Natives will be at the intersection of N 188th St and Linden Ave N (one block from Fred Meyer's) along with a garage sale; both to benefit the Sustainable Shoreline Education Association.

Planning that hedge or ‘back 40’ fence with large plants is not a problem. There are still lots of 5’ tall snowberry, the gorgeous huge boxwoods, and lots of serviceberry and red-twig dogwoods.

Also available are some 6’ cedars that were used for backdrops at the Islandwood Dinner in the Woods that need homes. They are on sale for $21 (30% off their $30 price), as well as a few vine maples also priced to go at $24. Some are 8’ tall.

Due to limited parking at the event sites, please walk or carpool if possible. Off-site parking and shuttle service to all four events will be provided on Saturday, May 8. Guests are encouraged to use the shuttle to reduce impact on the neighborhood. Richmond Beach Congregational Church, 1512 NW 195th, is currently reserved for off-site parking and shuttle service on Saturday, but this location is subject to change. Check the Richmond Beach website for current information or watch for signs that day. Shuttle parking is also available on Friday, May 7 and Sunday, May 9 for the Kruckeberg Plant Sale. On Friday, the shuttle will be operating from the Richmond Beach Congregational Church and on Sunday from Spin Alley Bowling Center at 1430 NW Richmond Beach Road. Kruckeberg Botanic Garden’s Mother’s Day Plant Sale and Open House May 6-9

Enjoy your local botanic garden on Mother’s Day weekend

At MsK Rare and Native Plant Nursery’s traditional spring sale, you’ll find the best selection of the year on choice native plants, spring bulbs and ephemerals, and unusual exotics. Since the sale is located within the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden, you can see how your plants will look as they mature. The sale has now been a Richmond Beach tradition for 23 years. 

All proceeds support operation of the Garden and its educational programs for the community. 

In addition to the sale, there is a free Garden tour on Saturday, May 8 and educational family activities all day on Sunday and Monday, May 8 and 9.

Due to limited parking at the Garden, all driving visitors are asked to use the off-site parking locations and shuttle service provided on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shuttle is fast and convenient, and all riders will receive a coupon to use at the Sale.
