The Holiday Bazaar returns!

Shop early for your holiday gifts and get into the holiday mood.

Local craftspeople and artists sell their handcrafted wares at the Holiday Bazaar.
Support the Senior Center in the Silent Auction.
Buy delicious Goodies at the famous Bake Sale.
Browse Santa’s Shop for holiday decorations.
Purchase Raffle tickets for prizes.
Take Out Food and Beverages from Chef Janice.

Safety protocols will be in place.

Volunteers needed for set up and days of event, contact the Center for details.

Friday and Saturday, October 22 and 23, at the Shoreline - Lake Forest Park Senior Center, 18560 1st Ave N, southernmost building on the Shoreline Center campus. 10am to 4pm both days.

Call for Artists: 2021 UnderGround Holiday Market
Deadline: June 30, 2021

ShoreLake Arts is partnering with the Shoreline Farmers Market and City of Shoreline RCCS this year to bring you the 17th Annual Shoreline Holiday Crafts Market. This time as the UnderGround Holiday Market located at Shoreline City Hall!

We are seeking artists, crafters, and farmers to apply for the event by June 30, 2021.

New Location:

Now at the Shoreline City Hall covered parking garage.

COVID-19

It is our intention to run this in person this year. However, we will adhere to current state guidelines as things evolve.

How to Apply

Please fill out the application form online completely. You may include up to three images of work in all categories you wish to sell, the price range of the items, and a photo of your booth set-up if you have one. 

Please include a brief description of your work and artist statement/process statement. Color copies, drawings, or whatever best represents your work may be submitted in place of photos. Your work will be judged on this information only.

Submit your application by Monday, June 30, 2021.

All items for sale must be handcrafted by the applying artist. No imported, manufactured / kit jewelry, or commercially prepared merchandise will be accepted.

Confirmation email sent to Artists: Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

Cost
  • Small booth space: 6’wide x 10’deep - $95
  • Large booth space: 10’w x 10’d - $125
  • Double booth space: 20’w x 10’d - $250
  • Uncovered booth spaces: 10’w x 10’d - $95. Vendors must provide their own canopy. This space will be located in the uncovered area of the parking garage.

The Arts Council and City of Shoreline are proud to be pivoting once again to bring you the annual Shoreline Holiday Market, but this time in a virtual format.

We’re spotlighting 28 local artists that all bring a variety of skills and gifts to make this holiday shopping season a one of a kind experience.

LFP Holiday Farmers Market and Crafts Fair at the Commons on Sunday, 12/15

You won’t find better holiday shopping than this Sunday, December 15th from 10am - 3pm at Third Place Commons’ annual indoor Lake Forest Park Holiday Farmers Market and Crafts Fair.

Yes, ‘tis the season of gift giving and there will be delightful, unique, and handmade gifts for one and all at the LFP Holiday Crafts Fair. Whether you’re shopping for some cozy, crocheted comfort, a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, some festive holiday décor, a gorgeous photograph or painting, a finely crafted pen or clock, or the ultimate challenge of “an escape room in a box,” there will truly be something special for everyone.

Offerings will include handcrafted jewelry, woodwork, home décor, toys, clothing, candles, soaps and lotions, original artwork, and holiday novelties galore. Whatever you need – from stocking stuffers to show-stoppers – this the place to find it.

Many of your favorite crafts fair vendors will be returning, along a bevy of fabulous new discoveries! About a third of the crafts vendors have changed from last month’s market, so even if you attended last time, you’ll want to be sure to stop in see what’s new!

And you definitely won’t want to miss the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market, which can always be counted on to have the freshest and best in Washington grown and produced fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, wines, baked goods, and more.

SAGA school bazaar featured contacts to the German-speaking community

The SAGA School held their annual Winter Bazaar on St. Nicholas Day, Friday, December 6, 2019. 

SAGA (Seattle Area German American School) offers youth and adult education programs throughout the year.

Its Winter Bazaar featured traditional handicrafts, art, food, literature, clothing and accessories of the season, along with contacts to the German-speaking community.

Christmas caroling and musical performances enhanced the holiday spirit.

The bazaar was a benefit for SAGA School, which is located at 11010 Greenwood Ave N. Seattle.

The Holiday Crafts Fair will feature a vast array of gift options and will feature the return of many popular artists and crafters as well as some extra special newcomers.

15th annual Holiday Crafts Market at Spartan Recreation Center (202 NE 18th St. Shoreline, WA 98155), is on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 9am - 4pm.

There will be plenty of parking, including in the Senior Center parking lot next door.

King's High School DECA annual holiday gift show Friday Nov 22

The King’s High School DECA program will be hosting their annual Holiday Gift Show on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 9:30am to 3:30pm. 

Located in the King’s Garden Gym (19400 Greenwood Ave N, Shoreline 98133), the King’s Holiday Show will include over 65 vendors and 3 food trucks including: Glassybaby, Sugar and Spoon, puppies, AT/T and more, creating a great experience for everyone!

The King’s Holiday Show is a tradition treasured by staff, students, and community members alike.

The show offers a true, one-stop shopping experience for busy families and helps give holiday shoppers a head start.

In addition to providing a great time, all profit made from the show will directly support the King’s High School DECA program, one of the strongest in the state.

By taking part in the holiday show, students will gain valuable experience in customer service and marketing, helping them both in DECA competitions and in their future careers.

The Comprehensive Learning Program is DECA's approach to preparing students exploring five industries: entrepreneurship, marketing, management, finance, and hospitality.

‘Tis the season for holidays galore. And they won’t be complete without pre-holiday stops at two special indoor editions of the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market plus two fantastic crafts fairs for all your shopping needs.

The annual Thanksgiving Farmers Market and Crafts Fair will take place on Sunday, November 24th, while the Holiday Farmers Market and Crafts Fair will take place on Sunday, December 15th. Both events are presented by Third Place Commons and will run from 10am to 3pm.

Lovers of the LFP Farmers Market already know that you can always find a dizzying selection of farm fresh produce, meat, and eggs (much of it organic), plus fan favorites like jams, pretzels, baked goods, pickles, honey, and more. All will be on hand for the special indoor markets at Third Place Commons.

Having trouble trying to think of Christmas presents or Stocking Stuffers?

The 11th of November is not too early to start tucking away those special presents.

We have our traditional antiques and collectibles, while our vendors will be displaying woodworking, jams, jewelry, photography, cards, American Doll clothes, knitted items, candy, paper jewelry, wine lamp shades, tote bags, scarves, almonds, beads and leather.

Finally and not least, visit some specialty rooms, specializing in unique Treasures and an exhibit of Christmas decorations, plus a good old fashioned “stuff room”.

Plan to spend the day, starting first with a visit to the “Coffee Bar”. After your shopping, sit down with a homemade lunch of either Mulligatawny or Bean Soup, hot bread, cookies, coffee or tea.

When you go to the Senior Center Holiday Bazaar this weekend, be sure to check out the gift baskets in the silent auction. They are amazing and beautiful and would make spectacular gifts.

Your favorite craftsmen from past years along with some exciting new artists, will be on hand.

Over 45 SILENT AUCTION items to bid on, Kenmore Air Scenic Tour for Two, Complete Thanksgiving Dinner valued at $170, Golf Packages, COSTCO Gift Card, Wild Birds Unlimited Gift Basket, hand and Stone Massage and Spa, Cats Exclusive Feline Exam, Seattle Storm Tickets, Fly Fishing Class and much much more!

This is a major fundraiser for the Senior Center, which has some fairly serious shortfalls after being left out of the ongoing funding from the Veterans and Seniors levy. (See the letter from new Executive Director Theresa LaCroix).

Northwest Artists' Holiday Show - Saturday Nov 2 and Sunday Nov 3

Northwest Artists’ Holiday Show 
10am - 5pm November 2 - 3, 2019 



On Saturday and Sunday, November 2nd AND 3rd, Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 8109 224th St. SW, Edmonds, will throw open its doors to holiday shoppers for the 46th annual Northwest Artists’ Holiday Show. With 50 artists’ booths, the show will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.

Attendees can expect to find beautiful and practical one-of-a-kind gifts from handmade soaps, jewelry and clothing to pottery, paintings and photography. 
Holiday décor, candles, and gourmet foods are also featured in booths throughout the building. Coffee, tea and cookies will be served in the upstairs loft, where more art will be for sale.

Sue Coccia of Earth Art International, a long-time participant in the show, has, again, loaned the image of one of her unique paintings to the Northwest Artists’ Holiday Show. This year it is her beautiful Christmas Elk. Sue, an Edmonds resident and well-known artist, has been featured in the publicity for the show for the last eight years.

A $3 donation for entrance to the Northwest Artists’ Holiday Show is good for both days and includes parking and complimentary childcare. A free shuttle service will serve nearby parking lots on both Saturday and Sunday.
