Trending: car prowls involving broken windows; car thefts; domestic violence assaults; forced entry residential burglaries.
Notable: two cars stolen which were left running, unlocked, with keys inside

02-11  Unknown subject pried open locking mailbox at 185xx Linden and stole a paycheck.
02-12  Subaru Legacy stolen from 192nd park n ride lot.
02-12  2xxx 9th NW - unknown suspects steal from victim's vehicles two nights in a row.
02-13  Picked up suspect at 145xx Whitman in possession of stolen packages.
02-14  Vehicles stolen from King's parking lot and apartment parking stall on N 200th; multiple bicycles stolen from unsecured parking garage at Ronald Commons.
02-14  Stopped a speeding driver and cited him for speeding and driving without a license. He has pending cases for auto theft, ID theft, and Violation of the Uniform Firearm Act (VUFA). Prior convictions for VUFA, assault, theft, and possession of a stolen firearm.
02-15  Graffiti at 200th and Aurora.
02-15  Windows smashed and cars prowled in secure garage at Polaris.
02-15  Burglary at 186xx 16th NE, cameras stolen. Video of suspect inside house and fingerprints identified.
02-15  155xx Midvale - stranger sitting on back deck of house.
02-16  Residential burglary 159xx 10th NE. Tried to kick in door, then smashed through rear slider.
02-16  195xx 5th NE residential burglary. Door kicked open and electronics stolen.
02-16  Felony DV court order violation - broke through front door to gain entrance.
02-16  Intoxicated person lying in stranger's front yard had an outstanding warrant.
02-17  Suspect gave female at Club Hollywood a note with a small packet of cocaine. She called police.
02-17  Officer responded to a domestic violence call and arrested person for violation of a court order and possession of stolen property.
02-17  Three car collision in parking lot at Walgreen's on 175th. Impaired driver but insufficient evidence for DUI.
02-18  Fight at house party on N 150th left unconscious victim and uncooperative witnesses.
02-18  Victim lost $6000 in AmericaGeeks.com scam.
02-19  Victim interrupts car prowl of his vehicle on 1st NE, then chases suspects into Seattle where they are involved in a hit and run collision.
02-20  Deputies responded to report of person yelling at a Metro bus driver at Shoreline CC. When told to leave the person bent over and dropped a baggie of meth.
02-22  Person on Aurora charged with huffing Dust Off keyboard cleaner and possessing a meth pipe.
02-22  Man peering in front window of residence on 12th NE fled when light came on.
02-22  Driver stopped for defective tail light, arrested for not having an interlock device on vehicle.
02-23  Report of meth sales at Newport Apts. on N 178th.
02-23  Forced entry residential burglaries at 12xx N 155th and 154xx 5th NE.
02-23  Burglar entered unlocked house at 154xx 5th NE while resident was asleep.
02-23  Subject displayed a gun to the receptionist at Shoreline CC.
02-23  Staff at Rat City Rollergirls discovered intoxicated female behind their building.
02-23  Burglar defeated deadbolt lock to steal electronics and jewelry at residence on 165xx 8th NE.
02-23  Residential burglary at 18xx NE 168th after burglar crawled in through the doggie door.
02-23  Subject taken to detox after overdosing on LSD.
02-23  Welfare check of driver at 182nd and Aurora turns into warrant arrest after driver runs from police and proves to be high on meth.
02-24  Male found to be in violation of DV no contact order after arrest for multiple warrants for burglary and theft.
02-26  Subject asleep in vehicle, which was running and parked on sidewalk on Aurora.

02-04 Individual previously Trespassed from Aurora Safeway is apprehended stealing alcohol, then transported to Sobering Center.
02-04 Suspect prowled multiple cars in the 204th block of Dayton, then went on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards.
02-05 Male was with his girlfriend at home in the basement of his parents' home when he injected himself with heroin and overdosed.
02-05 Found mail scattered along street 21xx block of N 148th.
02-05 Property found along street 13xx N 152nd - Dewalt band saw, lithium chargers, bicycle, wallet. White male suspect ran from police.
02-06 Stopped vehicle for traffic violation. Driver had no license and was a convicted felon in possession of a gun. Arrested.
02-06 Arrested individual at gas station on an outstanding warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
02-06 Resident receives emails threatening to kill him if he doesn't pay $10,000.
02-06 Resident pays $3500 to someone who told him he just won a new car.
02-06 Man lost his wallet on the bus, then tried to recover it but scared the bus driver. Wallet not found - he was told to check with Lost and Found.
02-06 Male arrested on Kenmore warrant. Score Medical refused to take him. Taken to Highline Hospital Emergency Room, then released from custody.
02-07 Mail theft 145xx 31st NE.
02-07 Picked up intoxicated individual at N 155th and Interlake who was falling on the street and hurting himself.
02-07 Storage lockers forced open at 17828 Midvale Ct.
02-07 Individual asked for a job at Holyrood Cemetery then stole items from maintenance shop. White male, 5'7", thin, shaved or short hair, black eye.
02-07 Individual threw something through the window at Viking Sports Bar, then was arrested a few blocks away when an eyewitness helped identify him to police.
02-08 Male Trespassed from Club Hollywood after talking to bartender with his hand down his pants.
02-08 Abandoned vehicle at 175th and Corliss had been reported stolen by Richland police.
02-08 Man in vehicle masturbates in front of 14 year old Einstein student in school zone.
02-08 iPhone 7+ stolen from pedestrian on 185th.
02-08 Burglary 147xx 23rd NE - credit cards stolen.

02-08 Driver arrested for eluding police had multiple outstanding warrants.
02-08 Laptop stolen from unlocked vehicle at El Sabor on Aurora.
02-09 Bicycle stolen from back porch at Ballinger Commons.
02-09 Ongoing domestic violence issues - assault with bat - 195xx 25th NE.
02-09 Residential burglary - firearm taken.
02-09 Traffic stop of van with stolen license plates. Driver booked on warrant.
02-10 Person contacted for smoking in an E Line bus stop; arrested on warrant.
02-10 Wallet stolen from shopping cart at Trader Joe's.
02-10 Two females in Fred Meyer parking lot arrested on outstanding warrants.
02-10 Male was urinating on back door of Wells Fargo bank in Richmond Beach while holding a can of beer. Beer poured out and individual warned.
02-12 Transient male in front of businesses was lighting papers to try to keep warm.

Trending: this week was full of incidents with alcohol intoxication and mental health issues. The usual run of people with outstanding warrants or without licenses driving vehicles with missing lights and/or making traffic violations like failing to signal.

01-28  Burglary 26xx NW 198th St, stole $100 and a cigar box.
01-28  N 155 and Interlake Ave - intoxicated subject laying in the street.
01-29  17xx N 178th - found bicycle, cart, and ski poles dumped alongside road.
01-29  Mail theft 157xx Ashworth
01-29  Graffiti inside Echo Lake park restroom.
01-30  Driver involved in parking lot collision was arrested on $4000 drug warrant and escape from community custody warrant.
01-30  Unknown subject grabbed a Fred Meyer employee and hugged and kissed her.
01-30  Graffiti on outside of Echo Lake park restroom.
01-31  Found wallet turned in to police.
01-31  Package stolen 18xx NE 172nd - thief driving a white pickup.
01-31  Revolver found in donation pile at Goodwill.
01-31  Subject Trespassed from Aurora Safeway after trying to hug employees and customers. Also created a disturbance at Whistle Work Wear.
01-31  Intoxicated subject Trespassed after opening products at Bartells; found to be suicidal and was sent for involuntary commitment.
01-31  Bicycle stolen off the bike rack on the front of a bus.
02-01  Officer investigating a vehicle in Paramount Park after hours discovered that driver had drugs and a custody escape warrant.
02-01  Female taken for detox after found drinking and incapacitated in Fred Meyer restroom.
02-01  Trespassed individual harassing SCC students for cigarettes.
02-01  Resident fell victim to phone scam and gave credit card info to caller to "fix" his computer.
02-01  Individual Trespassed from Trader Joe's for drinking alcohol in the restroom.
02-01  Suspect has called victim five times at her residence, cussing her out for denying his VA claim.
02-01  Tags on residential fence facing Echo Lake park.
02-02  Subject Trespassed for loitering in Shari's restroom for an hour and refusing to leave. Booked into jail on outstanding theft warrant.
02-02  Manager of retirement home reports that daughter of resident has not returned with resident's medications.
02-02  Police were called for verbal disturbance between parent and daughter; one was arrested on unrelated warrants and booked into jail.
02-03  Mentally ill person in Fred Meyer parking lot.
02-03  Male arrested at his Shoreline home after punching former roommate and hitting him with a frying pan.
02-03  Vulnerable adult left her residence at Sunrise Adult Family Home and went to downtown Seattle. Was located in Shoreline, trying to find her way back.
02-04  Unknown male talked his way into home on N 176th claiming falsely that he was from Comcast.

Trending: Behavioral unit handled over half a dozen mental breakdowns, including two called in by the subject. Trespasses for shoplifting, violating Trespass orders. DV - violations of no contact orders, pushing and shoving.

01-15  Purse with credit cards, ID, insurance card, and gift card stolen from vehicle at residence near N 159th and Corliss Ave N.
01-16  Smash and grab vehicle prowl 186xx 17th NW. Rear window of vehicle in residential driveway smashed with rock.
01-17  Prowl of unlocked vehicle in residential driveway 5xx NE 195th.
01-17  Residential burglary 181xx 12th NE. Burglar smashed rear bedroom window with rock.
01-20  Attempted theft from laundry machines at North City Laundry. Thief used a pry bar, screwdriver and tire iron but was unable to get into coin boxes.
01-21  Landlord reported possible burglary, as basement window was broken.
01-21  Vehicle was locked and abandoned in the intersection at NE 175th and 3rd NE.
01-22  Transit police responded to report of fare evasion, then booked suspect on a Dept of Corrections warrant.
01-22  Male charged with violation of no-contact order for sitting in his car in subject's driveway. Has been convicted four times previously.
01-22  Purse taken from locked vehicle in QFC parking lot.
01-22  Vehicle parked on street at 172xx 3rd Ave NW was prowled and bag of items taken.
01-22  Female suspect Trespassed after nodding off in Sears dressing room, surrounded by piles of clothes. Wearing clothing with tags. History of drugs, theft, and prostitution.
01-22  Aggressive panhandler reported that he was kicked in groin, punched in face, and threatened with a gun by someone he asked for change outside of Best Teriyaki in Richmond Beach.
01-22  Inebriated person taken for detox from Bartells.
01-22  Female arrested for DUI after causing an accident was driving without a license.
01-23  Purse stolen from unlocked vehicle in carport on 23rd NE.
01-24  Parcel stolen from front porch 155xx Palatine Ave N.
01-24  Victim's shoes were taken from a cart outside Marshall's.
01-24  Robber displayed knife and forcefully took phone from victim walking at 15900 Aurora.
01-25  Residential burglary 165xx 21st Ave NE.
01-26  Driver of Mercedes-Benz stopped in intersection at NE 160th and 15th NE. Arrested for lack of "physical control" of vehicle.
01-26  Caller reported a drunk male stumbling around the area of 19th NE and Ballinger, chewing on wadded paper.
01-26  Male punched girlfriend twice in the face when they were in the Aurora Safeway parking lot.
01-26  Resident let a woman into a secure apartment building. Woman was Trespassed by police after locking herself in the community bathroom.
01-28  Drunk driver was driving with two flat tires.
01-28  Unlocked vehicle prowled in residential driveway - flute taken.
01-28  Dispute between married couple. Female forced her cat to scratch her, then called police and claimed her husband did it.
01-28  Male shaking road signs along 15th NE told police he has mental issues. Behavioral unit called in.

01-12  Person with mental issues was tased by officer after he refused to drop the needle in his hand. No injury to either. Taken for involuntary commitment.

01-16  Male broke windows of his brother's vehicle parked at Ridgecrest 7-11.
01-16  Bipolar male flags down police and voluntarily goes to hospital.
01-17  Suspicious male at WSDOT on Dayton, demanding a job and scaring female staff.
01-17  Two females stole vodka from Ballinger Thriftway by smuggling it out in large purses.
01-18  Mentally ill male who was high made a scene at North City Safeway.
01-18  Female assaulted by ex-boyfriend.
01-18  Residential burglary - entered house through unlocked garage door.
01-19  Innis Arden maintenance worker found dead in ravine.

01-02  Female shoplifter at Goodwill left behind a wallet with cash.
01-04  Tenant at Junction 160 Apts on Linden found someone on his second story balcony, who had used a ladder to climb up.
01-04  Garage door openers stolen from The Blakeley.
01-04  Grave decorations stolen from grave site at Holyrood.
01-05  Teenager defrauded in a gift card scheme. Known suspect.
01-05  Thief stole the tip jar from Ballinger Subway.
01-05  Female sent for involuntary commitment after damaging auto at Delgri Auto and chasing people with a knife.

01-06  Male sent for detox after passing out drunk in Wells Fargo parking lot.

12-22  Commercial burglary at Shoreline Cigarland. Stole cash and merchandise.
12-25  Graffiti in Echo Lake restroom.
12-25  Subjects assault an individual who threw a rock at their car.
12-25  Window broken at The Little Store and cigarettes taken.
12-25  Graffiti at Hamlin Park.
12-26  Subject enters building 26 at Fircrest, says he is an employee, and takes items including keys to building and van. Suspect's shoes recovered as evidence. The next day he used a key to enter the food storage area.
12-26  Mail thief stole medications from 197xx 6th Pl NW.
12-26  Attempts to break into garage at 8xx NE 170th.
12-27  Package theft from 18xx NE 170th.
12-27  Individual tries to ram police car on 15th NE, police chase, recover stolen vehicle.
12-27  Suspect forced garage door to enter lobby of Rosemont Apts. Pried open a mailbox after trying several but there was no mail inside.
12-27  Echo Lake Apts storage shop was burglarized and key milling equipment stolen.
12-27  Welfare check on toddler whose mother was reported to be on drugs.

12-29  Robbery at Home Depot using scissors and a screwdriver.
12-30  Subject arrested in public park on 145th at 2:30am on felony escape and drug warrants.
12-30  Deputies responded to a larceny and arrested a male for aggravated assault and investigation of domestic violence including strangulation, theft, harassment, and trespass.
12-30  Attempted mail theft at Heatherstone Apts on 9th NE.
12-31  Intoxicated driver stopped car in roadway at 175th and Aurora at 12:30am.
12-31  Intoxicated driver stopped car in roadway at 155th and Aurora at 8am
12-31  Two males were trying to help get a friend's belongings but got the wrong apartment.

Trending: Car prowls - notable because none were at parks. Public streets, business and restaurant parking lots.

12-11  Person in Kayu Kayu Ac park at 9:20pm was arrested on misdemeanor warrants, then found in possession of meth.
12-12  Car parked at restaurant at 145th and Bothell Way was prowled - window broken, laptop stolen.
12-13  Homeless man stole food from Aurora Safeway.
12-14  Person contacted for Trespass at Aurora Village Starbucks had outstanding criminal warrants.
12-15  Ditto - but at Central Market.
12-15  1200 block of NE 160 - suspicious male pulls over to talk to school girls at bus stop.
12-15  Homeowner may have interrupted burglary at 15xx NE 147th.
12-18  Burglary at New Castle apts - three suspects in custody.
12-19  Baskin Robbins at N 185 robbed - no weapon displayed.
12-19  Restroom tagged at Echo Lake Park.
12-19  Customer at AV Starbucks left behind a bag with their wallet; barista turned it over to police.
12-19  Burglar broke bathroom window with a rock, entered house and rummaged through paperwork. 149xx Linden.
12-20  Woman booked into jail for biting her boyfriend on the neck.
12-20  Mail theft 154xx 2nd NE. Vehicle used was dark VW Jetta WA plates BBX8578.
12-20  Burglary 145xx Evanston - possible suspect information.
12-21  Suspect caught just before 3am, trying to pry open the door at Whistle Workwear.
12-21  Person in motel gets drunk and calls crisis clinic threatening suicide by wrapping phone cord around neck and jumping from balcony. Mental health referral.

12-10  Burglary at Aurora Square netted $25,000 worth of jewelry.
12-10  Car prowl at Shoreview Park. Rear window broken, purse stolen, credit cards used at Fred Meyer.
12-10  Man found his guitar, stolen in March, at a local pawn shop.
12-10  Caretaker at Fircrest hit in head twice by student with mental issues.
12-10  Domestic violence stemming from debilitating mental illness.
12-11  Car hit a pedestrian at 200th / Whitman; asked her if she was all right and then left.

12-12  Shoplifting at Costco and Marshalls.
12-12  Suspect seen peering into cars at Costco was picked up and booked on a warrant.
12-12  14 year old sent to Children's for involuntary commitment after taking 17 extra-strength Tylenol.
12-13  Unknown subject impersonates an off-duty police officer and assists Fred Meyer security with shoplifter.
12-14  Suspicious, occupied vehicle held woman who had cut her wrist with a knife. Taken to Northwest.
12-14  Suspects Trespassed from Gateway Starbucks for suspected drug use in bathroom, but no drugs or paraphernalia found.
12-14  Burglary 203xx 30th NE. Broke in through rear French doors.
12-14  19 year old took pills and alcohol; friends called for help 15 hours later when his condition deteriorated.
12-15  BHI unit contacted for man pounding on stranger's door after midnight, screaming to call 911.
12-15  Male pulls car over to talk to girls at school bus stop at 400 NE 160th.
12-15  Bicycle stolen from in front of pawn shop.
12-15  Burglary 15xx NE 147th.

12-04  North City Subway was robbed at gunpoint. Escaped with $247 in cash.
12-04  Residential burglary - cut screen from unlocked window on 2nd floor deck in back of house. Stole jewelry, money, and Metro bus passes.
12-04  Package stolen from front porch on Wallingford Ave.
12-04  Burglar stole iPad from Java Jane coffee stand in Goodwill parking lot.
12-05  Burglar smashed glass door at Kush Club in North City and stole trashbags full of marijuana.

11-27  Male who was kicked out of the house by his father was found at the end of the driveway at a "narcotics" house at 16xx N 180th. He reportedly deals heroin and has been admitted to rehab seven times.
11-27  Homeless woman was Trespassed from Paramount House after she was found in the recreation room cooking food.
11-27  Reported rape of a ten year old boy which occurred at Westminster Daycare in 2008.

12-02  Man in tree arrested on felony warrant; in possession of meth. Taken to King County jail where he was declined on medical reasons. Taken to Harborview and released.

11-11  Mother reported that her son came home wearing a blood-soaked sweatshirt.
11-12  Intoxicated male crashes car into fence, refuses alcohol test, jailed on DUI.

11-13  Broke window on car to steal battery, 203xx 15th NE.
11-13  Arrested two males and a female in Echo Lake Park at midnight. All had felony warrants.

11-19  Neighbor charged with Trespass after reaching over fence to cut tree branches.

11-20  Alleged rape on SCC campus; Harborview refused to do rape kit as subject has been there three times in five days with the same story.
11-20  Man punches and kicks vehicle window and breaks both side mirrors on ex-girlfriend's car.
11-21  Burglary NE 146th - entered via unlocked bedroom window.
11-24  Unknown suspect used supersoaker to spray corrosive liquid on car, which peeled the paint.

Many car prowls this week - most involving a breaking a window on the vehicle. Taken: wallet, purse, credit cards.

09-13 Burglar cut the lock to enter a storage unit at Highlander House on N 183rd, taking a stroller and a child's bike.

09-18 Daughter reported that her mother had punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist; case referred to CPS.

09-18 Man with mental problems was off his meds. Police went for welfare check after it was reported that he had broken a shop window and was running into traffic on Aurora and throwing clothing and paint around.

09-18 BHI deputies responded to report of man with mental issues who was having delusions.

09-19 Unknown male broke the office door of the Salvation Army on Westminster Way.

09-20 Hit and run. Vehicle hit mailboxes, cement post, and tree in the 2300 block of NW 197th. Left vehicle parts behind belonging to either a Kia or a Hyundai.

09-21 Shoreline couple were contacted because they were identified for a Trespass. They were in possession of stolen goods and were booked on outstanding warrants.

09-21 Two lockers prowled at YMCA. Cash was stolen but a gun was left.

09-21 Responding to a possible auto theft in progress, deputies found a man hiding in the garage at the Arabella apartments and arrested him on outstanding warrants, including possession of stolen goods.

09-22 Contacted man who was smoking in bus shelter and arrested him on outstanding theft warrant.

09-22 Investigation of suspicious vehicle in park n ride led to arrest for narcotics possession.

09-22 Stopped driver who made illegal left turn and booked him on outstanding felony warrant.

09-22 A couple, their child, and a friend are living in their cars on Shoreline streets. The adults all have extensive criminal histories.

09-22 BHI deputies responded to a man with mental issues who was off his meds and intoxicated.

09-23 Two juveniles and a friend who had just turned 18 were found at Paramount School Park after hours with alcohol and marijuana. All were released to their parents with a warning.

09-23 Residential burglary in 15300 block of Interlake. Removed the rear slider to gain access.

09-23 TV stolen from unlocked residence on Midvale.

09-23 Residential burglary 15500 block Stone. Forced entry. Took laptop and REI backpack.

09-23 Four teens smoking marijuana in Boeing Creek park after hours. Drugs confiscated and parents called.

09-24 Police interrupted commercial burglary in progress at strip mall on 199th and Aurora. Suspect was inside building and in possession of heroin.

09-25 Burglaries to several units at Ballinger Homes. Burglar was interrupted because neighbor called police. Many items were recovered.

09-12  Officer performing nightly check of Echo Lake park discovered graffiti in restroom.
09-13  Someone used a truck to knock over an ATM machine at Heritage Bank on 8th NW, and attempt to pry it open with a crowbar.
09-14  Fence boards charred at Heritage Bank.
09-15  Person stopped on jaywalking violation, then arrested on theft warrant.
09-17  Driver caused a two-car collision, fled the scene, but apprehended and charged.
