6-20 Citizen at 189xx Ballinger, trying to catch a German Shepherd in the roadway. Officer got dog into patrol car, called phone number on dog's tag, and delivered to owner in Shoreline at 27xx NE 205.

Malicious mischief
6-20 192xx 40 Pl NE. Rock through window of parked car belonging to 17 year old boy.
6-25 195xx 40 Pl NE. Vehicle tires slashed on two cars.

Hey - it's free
6-20 Starbucks employee suspicious of man who sits all day in his car behind the building. PD - he's using the free wi-fi.

Third Place is the heart of the community
6-20 LFP 80 year old woman with memory issues walked away from home and didn't come back. Reported at 2:35pm Police notified everyone to be on the lookout. At 4:20pm, manager of Third Place Books called to say they had her at the bookstore.

The Burke-Gilman Trail detour will take some getting used to
6-21 NE 165/37 NE. Driver stopped at intersection, started to pull forward when a cyclist ran the stop sign. Almost ran info cyclist, who yelled at him, claiming the driver was supposed to yield. 6-25 NE 165/37 NE. Citizen complained about bicyclist running the light. 6-25 Officer monitored the intersection. Saw 20 bicyclists either stop or rolling stop and one roll through. 6-25 46xx NE 175. Stopped one bicyclist for failure to stop at sign, use turn signal or wear a helmet. 6-25 162xx 37 NE Bicyclist failed to stop. 6-25 after dark, Bothell Way. Bicyclist rides across highway with no helmet or headlamp. 6-26 145xx Bothell Way. Bicyclist turned left on red arrow.

Bicycle thefts
6-23 170xx 28 NE. Two bicycles stolen.

Scam
6-21 Curves employee loaned $65 to unknown male so he could get to his mother's funeral. He never returned to pay her back.

I hear music
6-21 Complaints about loud music from 26xx NE 195 and 35xx NE 148. 6-25 Loud party complaints from 180xx 25 NE and 194xx 37 NE.

6-24 16xx NE 195 Caller's mother let two male subjects into the house who said they were from City Light with free light bulbs. Their only visible identification was a door hanger, which they asked to keep, and a magnetic sign on the car. Caller tried to verify they were legit but got put on hold at City Light and gave up. Said they couldn't change the lights because of size and wattage.

Not your ordinary burglary
6-13 155xx Bothell Way, apartments. Burglar kicked in the door, trashed the interior. Massive amount of damage, purposefully caused. Cabinet, oven door, furniture, washer/dryer, all purposefully damaged. Etched on wall "You I waz f---ing playing". Victim has only lived there three weeks.

Grandson scam - no wonder they get away with it
6-13 Grandson scam. LFP citizen reported receiving a call from an unknown male who claimed to be his grandson. Said he was in an Ontario, Canada jail on a drug charge and needed bail money. Citizen played along and got all the information about where the "grandson" wanted money to be wired. Citizen reported all this to LFP PD. LFP contacted the FBI, which declined investigation and referred them to Western Union Security. Western Union said they would take the report but nothing further.

Be on the lookout
6-13 LFP woman saw a large truck partially in her driveway and heard a noise at the front door as if the door were being pushed. She went out the back way and contacted a scruffy looking male who was at her door. He told her she had an "awesome looking house" and asked if he could come in and "do a once over." He said he lived in Shoreline. The female with him was heavyset, with short, bleached blonde hair.

Bad breakups
6-13 170xx Brookside Blvd NE. Boyfriend called his girlfriend for help with an intoxicated female neighbor who wouldn't leave his house. Girlfriend called police, who trespassed the neighbor and got her to leave.
6-13 The trespassed female from previous incident went home but her boyfriend has thrown her out again. A friend took her to her sister in Marysville.
6-13 23 year old woman. Boyfriend kicked her out of the apartment and she is sitting with all her possessions in front of the building. Didn't want to talk about it or call anyone but she has no money. Officer donated $20 to transportation cash pool to get her a taxi to Everett.
6-16 171xx Bothell Way. Subject found crouched behind bushes. Said she and her husband had a fight and he kicked her out of the house in Kenmore.

When did the sign ordinance change?
6-13 Per info from sergeant, the illegal real estate signs pulled the previous night are no longer illegal per city ordinance change. Signs returned to original location.

Theft and burglary
6-15 172xx Beach Dr NE. Canister full of coins missing.
6-16 33xx NE 163 Burglary. Back door open and house ransacked. Computers and diamond ring missing.

Group Homes
6-16 Group home resident refused to take meds and is attacking staff and throwing things.
6-17 195xx 35 NE. Citizen called about a man who has been on his property. Police found the man, who was unable to walk. Group home resident.

Inappropriate
6-17 Albertson's. 20 year old female in a see-through bra flashed her breasts at several young boys.

Not just the car was gassed
6-14 Towne Centre gas station. Driver pumping gas is extremely intoxicated. Driving very recklessly. PD picked him up.
6-17 Ballinger Way. Driver hit the Jersey barrier and flipped his car. Arrested for DUI.
6-17 46xx NE 201st. Car crash. Driver ran but On Star provided his name and address.

Officer saves the day
6-6 Dad locked out of car on hot day with motor running and crying child inside. On Star couldn't unlock it, but Officer gained entry.

Be on the look out
6-6 A young man selling children's books door to door from the Burke Gilman Trail, so entering people's back yards. Asked too many questions about the neighbors and made the homeowner suspicious. Police unable to locate.

Mail theft
6-6 202xx 37 NE. Neighbor saw a car pull up and a man get out and take the mail.

Ouch
6-6 Bicyclist swerved to avoid dead animal in road and fell onto paved shoulder.

Teenagers
6-6 Bothell Way and Ballinger. Driver appeared to be unable to control vehicle while turning onto SR 104 and hit the utility pole. Notified City Light and his father.
6-8 173xx Beach Dr. 16 year old male lying on ground, didn't know how he got there, where he was or what he was doing there.
6-10 Student's laptop is stolen.
6-12 35xx NE 189 Pl. Loud party with juveniles. Officer: seven teens in back yard with parents home. They will lower the music as a courtesy.

Among the lost
6-8 174xx Ballinger. Man can't find his car but doesn't know if it's lost or stolen. Officer found his keys and property at Lake City.

Problems
6-9 150xx Raining Ribs. Subject harassing customers at restaurant.
6-10 33 NE /NE 182. Caller reported a man who was handing out flyers. Man had a soliciting permit, but also had outstanding warrants for marijuana and failing to obey court order. Taken into custody.
6-12 178xx Ballinger. Subject running along street when Golden Retriever came out of yard and bit him hard enough to draw blood. Owner said the yard is not fenced, so what can he do?

Car prowl
6-10 26xx NE 195.
6-12 32xx NE 181. Cracked and pried back window of truck.

Neighbors' bad behavior
6-8 174xx Brookside Blvd NE. Problem with neighbor who won't stay off his property, comes over at night and knocks on the door. Trespassed male and female.
6-8 35xx NE 190. Woman with mental issues wandering around caller's property at night. Trespassed.
6-8 35xx NE 187. Young white/black pitbull loose on 187th. Neighbor said that it jumps the fence.
6-9 23xx Perkins. Neighbor's terrier barks.
6-10 148xx 37 NE. Neighbor's dog is always off leash. It charges the caller's toy dog when they walk by. Neighbor yelled at them and threatened them with his dog.
6-10 172xx Brookside Blvd NE. Man complains about neighbor who rides by on bicycle and harasses him. Officer said that bad behavior is not against the law. Just then the bicyclist rode by - told the officer that everything is great and he gets along with everyone. He admits that he drove by in his car, revved his engine and yelled "Great neighbor!" in reference to neighbor calling police. Officer: why are you driving with your license suspended? Neighbor: Oh, that was before. Officer: does anyone live with you? Neighbor: My fiancee M - but we are both clean and sober. Officer: Well, that's not quite true. I dealt with M last week when she was drunk and panhandling in the Mall. Neighbor: But this week we are clean and sober. Officer: Do not talk to or make comments to neighbors if it upsets them.

He did.  6-7 A couple of brothers brought a BB gun to Parkwood Elementary grounds. 6-9 Shorewood student left backpack unattended and computer was stolen. 6-9 Shorecrest student, same thing. 6-10 Shorewood. Victim's iPod stolen from counter inside classroom. 6-11 Innis Arden Reserve. Four underage kids cited for drinking beer, then driven home.

Trespass
6-5 AV Suspect trespassed for sleeping in Starbucks. 6-9 Ballinger Commons apartment complex on 205th. Man going door to door knocking on doors and aggressively demanding money. Managers want him trespassed but don't know who he is. 6-9 7xx N 185. Transient sleeping at business, formally trespassed. 6-13 Shorecrest. Subject sleeping at south end of baseball fields had misdemeanor warrants.

Internet scams
6-6 Victim sent wire transfer cash to suspects posing as United Nations reps in order to receive millions back.

Burglary
6-7 Shorewood. Used rock to break window, stole five computers. 6-9 13xx N 165. Broke out basement window but didn't get inside. 6-10 Family Time Restaurant 15200 Aurora, burglarized. Burglar punched through drywall to next business, Aurora Prints. Took contents of tills. 6-10 2545 NE 200. Door to school annex at Aldercrest forced open. Nothing missing. Have photo of intruder on tape. 6-10 158xx 8 NE. Forced open locked shed. 6-13 22xx NE 197 Pl. Front door forced, unknown if entry was made. 6-13 18xx NE 171. Entered through side door in garage. Home unoccupied. 6-14 3xx NE 158. Nook missing from house.

Vandalism
6-7 The Y. Vehicle keyed while parked in YMCA covered lot. 6-9 Vehicle keyed while parked in Aegis lot 15100 1st NE. 6-10 165xx Densmore N. Rock thrown at parked vehicle, broke windshield. 6-12 148xx 15 NE. Tire slashed on parked car. Second time in two months. 6-13 4xx NW 203. Front lawn driven over with a vehicle. 6-14 9xx NW Innis Arden. Sky light on front of house broken by a golf ball.

Car theft - burglary - car keys
6-8 Unknown person broke into vehicle at Ronald Bog and drove to residence to break into home. 6-11 Unknown person entered house and took things, took car keys and took things from car. Left beer. 6-12 Vehicle keys dropped into car off victim's clip, car stolen and impounded by Washington State Patrol.

6-8 Car in residential driveway. Documents and speakers stolen, screwdriver left. 6-8 Two weeks ago GPS stolen from vehicle at 7xx N 182. 6-8 Richmond Beach Park. Purse stolen from car. 6-11 200xx 15 NE. Car in residential driveway. 6-12 904 N 155, Denny's. Victim having dinner at Denny's, someone broke window on car and stole computer bag. 6-13 SCC. Window smashed, bag taken. 6-13 200xx 15 NE. 6-13 Shoreline Library. Car window broken, laptop and cell phone taken.

Bicycles lost and found
6-10 160xx Ashworth N. Bicycle hanging on hook in carport stolen. 6-11 21xx N 155. Bicycle found.

6-8 Home Depot. 6-8 Top Foods. Suspect is known to eat beef jerky without paying, then threatens to kill manager when confronted. Suspected crack cocaine found during search incident to arrest. Formally trespassed. 6-9 Costco, stole jeans. 6-9 Goodwill, clothing. 6-9 Top Foods, put items in purse. 6-10 Top Foods. 6-11 Top Foods, stole food. 6-15 Sears. Took a flashlight.

Forgery
6-9 Suspect used forged sales receipt at Safeway on 15th NE. 6-13 Club Hollywood. Counterfeit  cash.

Theft
6-10 162xx 9 NE. Subject drove off, leaving briefcase on curb. Returned ten minutes later and it was gone. 6-13 Aurora Rents. Failure to return $1500 gas winch. 6-14 Sky Nursery. Theft of wallet from purse in shopping cart inside store. 6-14 Shoreline Library. Victim's Green Card is missing. Thinks he had it last at the library.

Cutting fences
6-8 2136 N 163, City Light substation. Cut fence, stole pipe. 6-9 15303 Westminster, NW School. Cut hole in chain link fence, nothing missing. 6-12 City Light substation. Cut fence, stole copper.

Cutting people
6-12 196xx 19 NE. Argument among several people results in victim being cut by a knife.

Intoxicated
6-4 12xx N 173. Subject intoxicated and screaming. Warned once, then given a ticket for violating noise ordinance.  6-9 2xx NE 155. Stopped for speeding, arrested for DUI. 6-10 AV Transit Center. Intoxicated man takes pills in suicide attempt. Involuntary commitment to Swedish Edmonds. 6-10 Ballinger Commons on 205th. Loud stereo. Drunken subject briefly detained before cooperating and providing name. 6-10 AV Transit Center. Subject intoxicated, passed out on Metro coach, sent for detox. 6-11 NE 170/4 NE. DUI driver got in accident, taken to hospital. 6-11 195xx Dayton N. Intoxicated male sleeping on grass.

Spidey sense was tingling
6-11 Sears upper parking lot. Officer saw a single car with two occupants in empty lot at 2:40 am. Arrested both on outstanding warrants. 6-11 Driver with suspended license tried to use his twin brother's ID to avoid a ticket. 6-11 171xx 15 NE. Driver switched plates on his SUV to avoid the license tax. Suspended license, 25 oz of marijuana in vehicle. Handicapped placard in car. 6-12 172xx Ashworth. Officer saw a man walking northbound carrying a small wood cabinet and rolled up carpet. Subject dropped the carpet on the shoulder of the roadway and kept walking. He had outstanding felony criminal warrants. 6-12 Goodwill. Man put wallet in shorts pocket and dropped it. Inside were various ID cards and $850 in cash. Wallet was stolen.

5-30 Towne Centre. Panhandler going door to door asking for money. Her story changes about why she needs the money.

Dogs
5-30 167xx Shore Dr. Barking dogs
5-30 26xx NE 184. Barking terrier.
5-31 148xx 37 NE. Woman with aggressive pit bull. It charges at other dogs with hackles raised.
6-5 174xx Ballinger. Driver nearly hit a dog in the road. Put him in car and took to police.
6-5 192xx 32 NE. Pitbull wandering. Owner took him home.

Oh dear
6-5 168xx Bothell Wy. Subjects fighting over personal property. One followed the other down Bothell Way to try to retrieve property. Each party accusing the other of reckless driving.

Intoxicated
5-30 170xx Brookside. Two intoxicated individuals. Woman fell in creek next to bridge. Officers sent them home and told them to stay there.

Hi neighbor
5-30 192xx Lago Pl NE. Neighbor complained about structure neighbor is building next to stream. Officers asked them to check with planning department to make sure the structure is legal.
5-31 36xx NE 155, apartments. Neighbor complained about noise. Not a noise violation, but officers asked them to turn it down.
6-3 190xx 21 NE. Escalating tension between neighbors over construction project, noise, dogs. Now glowering at each other, and swerving cars toward each other.

5-31 174xx Brookside, 2:04 am. Two women in park after hours.
6-3 NE Perkins/NE 180. Large maple tree down across road, blocking traffic in both directions.

6-2 35xx NE 180. Vacant house burglarized

Car prowl
5-31 27xx NE 184. Took garage door opener and iPod.

Baggy pants
6-1 35xx NE 153 Subject was stopped for jaywalking across SR 522. He ran, pursued on foot by officer. They tumbled down a hill. Subject tripped in Woodlawn N parking lot because of his baggy pants. He admitted to two outstanding warrants and that is why he ran.

5-23...Ballinger/40 Pl NE. Driver traveling at high rate of speed around a corner. Said he heard a loud thunk and lost control of his jeep and ran into a tree. Fire department had to cut him out of his car.
5-24...175xx Ballinger. Male1 called about Male2 threatening him. Male1 has antiharassment order against Male2. Said that Male2 threw things at his house. Male2 said he was returning items belonging to Male1 and may have hit the front door when he dropped them at the doorstep. Male1 said that Male2 later drove by, flipped him off and yelled "I'm going to f---ing kill you."

5-27...150xx Bothell Wy. Report of one man chasing another down the street. Both were in cars when Male2 rear-ended the car of Male1. Male2 got out of car and started running, chased by Male1. Accident happened in Shoreline, will be handled by SL police.

5-24...184xx 25 NE. Tank full of propane stolen from in front of caller's trailer.

Panhandlers and peddlers
5-23...Towne Centre, Albertsons. Female panhandler. Had warrants for criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Handed over to officers from Kenmore.
5-25...174xx BKS Blvd. Two peddlers. Knew they were supposed to have a permit.

It's officially summer (or was)
5-27...170xx 37 NE. The karaoke was not only loud, the singer was off-key. Officers shut it down.
5-28...169xx 26 NE, 1:32 am. Party with loud music and voices. Officers advised them to turn it down and take it inside.

5-25...147xx 38 Pl NE. Caller sold a motorcycle 2-3 months ago but did not transfer the title. Buyer didn't finish paying. Seller still has title. Seller is getting parking tickets. Seller wants the police to repossess the bike for him. Police say it is a civil matter.
5-27...Ballinger/Bothell Wy. Officer contacted man putting up real estate signs and explained the sign ordinance. Said he could remove his signs or be cited.

5-25...Towne Centre, Rite Aid. 23 year old man seemed to be in physical distress. Said he had been kicked out of his house and was walking to Shoreline to friends.
5-29...NE 145/Bothell Wy. Man lying half in road. Called Aid. They transported him to Northwest Hospital.

5-27...174xx BKS Blvd. Couple in park after dark. Asked to leave.
5-27...145xx Bothell Wy, 1:29am. Subject warned for urinating in public.
5-28...Bothell Wy/47 NE. Report of a man walking westbound in eastbound lanes of Bothell Way.
5-29...190xx 35 NE. Woman is wandering around caller's yard, looking into vehicles, appears to be mental. Told officers she was just looking for something to do.
5-29...26xx NE 195. Missing husband located. Couple had been fighting and he walked out.
5-29...45 Pl NE/46 NE. Taxi driver called. His fare had been drinking. Fare said he had to go in the house to get money. Didn't return. Didn't go to house, but walked into the woods.

5-28...28xx NE 177. Man was going to hire woman as steno, but is now sending her text messages with vague threats. Her ex was assaulted at home in Kirkland, and she got a message that said "that's just the start."

And if he saw a family member in the vegetable aisle?

LFP Police Blotter, May 16-22, 2011. Loose dogs and Bothell Way gone wild

The usual crazy stuff on Bothell Way
5-16...145xx Bothell Wy, 4:10am. Driving on wrong side of street.
5-20...NE 153/Bothell Wy. Female passenger on bus hit another passenger. County didn't have units available and requested LFP unit.
5-20...14712 Bothell Wy. Observed truck leaving former marijuana clinic. Verified that building remained red-tagged for no occupation.
5-20...145xx Bothell Wy. Sgt stopped vehicle for failing to yield to stationary emergency vehicle and using cell phone while driving. Driver showed signs of alcohol. Tested, performed poorly. Transported to station, issued citation and released.
5-21...NE 145/Bothell Wy, 1:07am. Attempt to stop vehicle for lane violation, hitting curb. Vehicle ignored lights and siren. Tried to box him in, he accelerated to 70 mph. Turned on 130th NE. Officers chose not to pursue, notified Seattle PD. Ran plate and notified Sno County who went to house of registered owner. Found evidence of assault with no victim present. Roommate indicated son took father's/suspect vehicle and left residence.
5-22...145xx Bothell Wy, Elks. Birthday party shut down early, just after midnight, and guests were trying to find rides home. Some were hanging out in parking lot drinking beer. Cabs were called to take them home.
5-22...145xx Bothell Wy, 1:07am. Men warned for urinating in public.

Apartments on Bothell Way
5-17...36xx NE 155, apartments. Maintenance worker found bullet in outside wood railing that wasn't there the day before.
5-18...36xx NE 155. Tenant found woman outside building, saying she was locked out. Rambling, trying to get into caller's apartment. Police identified her as someone with warrants from South Seattle and took her into custody.

Shoplifters, beggars, and disturbances at Towne Centre
5-16...Towne Centre, Rite Aid. Shoplifter.
5-19...17001 Bothell Wy. Customer made a disturbance, saying he gave clerk a 100 dollar bill and she only gave him change for 20. Police determined that he gave her a 20.
5-21...Towne Centre, gym. Employee called for disturbance in women's locker room. Woman upset because lock was gone from locker. Yelling, screaming, cursing. Told she could stay if she made no more disturbance.  She found the lock.
5-22...Towne Centre. Aggressive panhandler at Albertson's.

Could be mail theft
5-16...192xx 40 Pl NE. Found mail on ground under mailboxes. Not sure if anything is missing.

Car prowls and vandalism
5-17...195xx 45 NE. Motor vehicle prowl and vandalism. Slashed front seats.
5-17...195xx 45 NE. Motor vehicle prowl. Stole CDs
5-20...158xx 32 NE. Vandalism. Driver side window broken.
5-20...195xx FP Dr NE. Graffitii spray-painted on fences, mail box.

5-21...174xx Ballinger. Man walking his dog when it was attacked by another dog. Happened in the triangle area at 47 NE and NE 178. Other dog with two younger females and all off leash. Man's dog required surgery. Animal control will follow up.
5-21...175xxx 32 NE. Verbal confrontation between neighbors over off-leash dog coming in 1st neighbor's yard. Dog previously came in his yard to attack his dog.

04-15 28xx NE 178. Car prowl. Took small bag of change. Car unlocked, no damage.

The Grandson Scam (I'm told the info comes from Facebook pages)
04-12 39xx NE 157. Subject called, claiming to be with reporting party's grandson in the Dominican Republic. Requested $4100 to bail grandson out of jail. The grandparent asked several questions requiring personal information about grandson. Eventually the subject was not able to answer correctly and grandparent hung up. But the caller knew the name of the grandparent's deceased father.

All kinds of odd situations
04-11 145xx Bothell Wy. Subject's right front tire was gone and he was not aware of the date or where he was. Fire responded and checked him and there did not appear to be a medical issue. He was sent home in a taxi and his vehicle was towed.
04-11 Ballinger at Bothell Wy. Older woman driving her husband's car was unfamiliar with the clearance, changed lanes into the curb and flattened both tires on driver's side.
04-11 55 Pl NE/NE 204. 40 year old woman driving recklessly, driving circles in roadway. Other drivers tried to stop her. KC 911 received previous calls about her from Woodinville. Multiple calls about her. One caller followed her to Horizon View Park, where she sat in the car rocking then got out and started yelling and dancing around posts. Police talked to her. She was wearing an iPod and headphones. Not intoxicated. Admitted reckless driving.
04-11 153xx Bothell. A woman called to report that a man opened the door of her car and took her purse at Albertson's on the Mukilteo Speedway. She is following him, staying on phone while she is transferred through from WA State Patrol to Lynnwood to LFP. Passed through LFP on Bothell Way. Suspect was stopped, Seattle police called to scene. Driver cited for driving without a license and car impounded for search.
04-13 Hillside Dr/33 NE. Strange man walked into house through unlocked front door, walked up to homeowner, shook his hand and introduced himself. Homeowner escorted him out of the house and was trying to figure out what to do when police officers arrived. Man was very confused, under the influence of a drug. Said he drove there in a station wagon but got lost. Left his wallet and keys in car and doesn't know where it is. Police transported him to 169th and 15th.

04-11 156xx 38 NE. Tools taken from shed overnight.
04-11 NE 182/30 NE. Stopped a subject. He had a warrant from Federal Way.
04-11 Towne Centre. A woman tried to shoplift at Albertson's. Mall security caught up with her behind the bank. She had several warrants for theft from Seattle and Renton.
04-13 53xx NE 193. Graffiti on mailbox, street sign, garbage can.

Crash and bang
04-14 36xx NE 155. Traffic accident. Stop and go traffic, sudden stop, was rear-ended.
04-14 145xx Bothell Wy. Car hit rockery, dislodged rocks and post and left the scene.
04-15 Towne Centre. Cars backed into each other.

People Problems
04-14 36xx NE 155. Grandmother is concerned about welfare of toddler grandchild. Police checked and toddler appeared ok but mother wouldn't let them in to check further. CPS caseworker notified.
04-14 35xx NE 148.. Roommate pushed door into caller last week. Now his MP3 player is gone and his door is damaged.
04-14 26xx NE 184 Pl. Neighbors are throwing garbage into caller's back yard. Advised that it's a civil matter unless they are throwing garbage into the stream.
04-15 30xx NE 176. Malicious mischief. Broke back window of car.
04-17 35xx NE 153, apartments. Two men are out front yelling and cursing at each other. Female tenant scared, went back in apartment to call 911. Officer found it was a disagreement between tenant and maintenance staff.

Peddlers and Panhandlers
04-16 189xx FP Dr NE. Peddlers. Males and females going door to door. Caller didn't answer door. Said they were nicely dressed with the women in dresses.
04-16 Mall. Aggressive panhandler at Bank of America.
04-16 171xx Bothell Wy. Male, Asian-American, about 20, requesting donations for his church.
04-16 190xx Ballinger. Jehovah's Witnesses on street but denied being on FP Drive.

If you love animals, don't read this one
04-11 191xx 30 NE. Family cat got near their pitbulls. Pitbulls attacked cat, cat owner tried to save cat and was attacked. Mom tried to save daughter and was dragged. Other daughter tried to save Mom by stabbing dogs. Animal control responded and removed dogs. Homeowner signed release to destroy dogs.

01-26...167xx 39 NE. Neighbor saw a car of teenagers coming from vacant house. Police found that house was untouched. Car may have just been turning around in driveway.

01-28...161xx Bothell Way. Caller says there's a man in neighbor's back yard with a flashlight. Now on the balcony. Police found two people at the residence. One was a guest who was charging a flashlight on the deck. The other was a family member, caretaker of the property.
01-29...42xx NE 203 Pl. Neighbor hears alarm at group home. Doors are open. It was the hot water tank alarm, which was being repaired.

Lost and lonely dogs
01-28...NE 158/32 NE. Puppy got out and got lost.
01-29...NE 195/30 NE. Shoreline police looking for someone racing. Apparently guy was drunk, racing up and down 195th. He went into a ditch, but got out. Told people he was looking for his dog.

Don't hang out here
01-29...36xx NE 155. Guy hanging out by apartments, claimed he just dropped a woman off. Police suggested he leave, so he moved his car, then came back on foot. Still hanging around. Said he might need to give her a ride. Cops said "Are the drugs she's buying for you?" and he said "No, they're for her." And he just wants to go home now. He did leave. Cops unable to locate the woman.

It wasn't even a full moon
01-29...28xx NE 185. Man reports that neighbor and girlfriend threatened to "destroy" him if he dates someone else.
01-30...26xx NE 195. Man said he is being hurt by silent sounds. He had rings inserted in his ears when he was young and now someone is trying to hurt him. Someone is making the rings heat up. He just wants it documented that he called.
01-30...36xx NE 155. Caller complains about loud music from apartment above. When cop arrive all is quiet. From inside the building, they call the complainer and ask if he can still hear the music. Yes, he says, but not so loud. Tenant upstairs said she has been on the computer all evening with no music playing. Says he almost got her evicted. Cops called complainer again and told him they were in the apartment when he claimed loud noises and screaming and there was no noise. He is going to make a complaint to the county.

And good people keep knocking down our cable lines
01-07...168xx 37 NE. Garbage truck hit a Comcast cable.

We don't like scenes in public
01-05...17191 Bothell Wy, Chase Bank. Bank is being picketed by carpenters regarding Chase using a company that pays carpenters sub-standard wages. They are handing out flyers and the manager wants them to leave. They agreed to leave.

We try to do the right thing
01-06...Ballinger/Bothell Wy. Caller saw a person down on the street. Aid called. Subject had seizure while waiting for a bus.
01-08...Station. Man tried to turn himself in to serve his 24 hour sentence for a DUI a year ago. He tried King County but they told him to go to LFP. He was supposed to turn himself in between Dec. 15 and Jan. 9 but he was busy during the holidays. No record of warrant so told him to contact the court on Monday.
01-09...174xx Ballinger. Citizen came to the station with a man he found shivering and walking around in Mountlake Terrace. Man said he was looking for a house his grandmother gave him. Police researched story, then contacted the group home where the man lives and took him home.

And some of us are soooo lucky that we didn't get blown away by the police
01-05...145xx Bothell Wy. Two guys in bullet-proof vests, carrying assault rifles and running across Bothell Way. Seattle Police are after them and LFP Police saw and joined in. The guys had air-soft rifles. Told them to take them home.
