9-14…19022 Aurora, Aurora Rents. When equipment was not returned, staff discovered that the renter had used a stolen driver’s license.

9-15…175xx Ballinger Wy. Neighbor A called to complain about Neighbor B, who keeps yelling at her (own) dog to shut up. Neighbor A wants her to stop so his young daughter doesn’t learn those words. Police contacted Neighbor B who complained that Neighbor A runs an illegal business out of his home. Also complained that he goes to the bathroom outside every morning where she can see him.

If it wasn’t for bad luck, wouldn’t have no luck at all…
9-13…Station. Woman came in for an entertainment license and was arrested on a warrant.
9-13…176xx Bothell Wy. Caller reported that a car came over the lane line and the mirror scraped his car, then continued driving.

Can’t we all just get along?
9-13…183xx 28 NE. Male (Brother #1) called and said his brother (#2) hit him. Mother in background telling son (#1) not to call police. He wavers but tells them to come. Police arrive. Brother #1 who called is in a wheelchair. Said brothers were fighting about whether brother #2 was an a—hole. #1 turned to go and #2 grabbed the handles of his chair and slapped him in the head. Brother who did the hitting was arrested.
9-16…188xx 37 NE. Child custody issues between divorced parents. Civil matter.
9-16…197xx 42 NE. Ex-boyfriend sending threatening text messages.
9-17…33xx NE 182. Man and woman fighting about internet. They were reminded that they were warned about fighting last month and the woman responded that it had been an entire month. Police noticed multiple bags of trash outside home.

It’s like going home to Mom – our very own police department
9-13…Station. 4 juveniles reported a home invasion and assault with baseball bat in Mountlake Terrace. They came to LFP because they didn’t know where the police station was in MLT. Gave them the address.
9-13…Station. Woman locked out of car. Window is partly down but her arms aren’t long enough. Wants a cop with long arms to help. They can’t help because she has power locks.
9-14…Station. Man wants police to talk to the people who put a restraining order on him and make them stop telling lies about him. Cops advised him to notify the court which issued the order.

Remind me again why y’all think burglar alarms are a good idea?
9-15…47xx NE 203. Alarm. Set off by housekeeper.
9-16…46xx NE 195. Alarm. House appears ok. Daughter called, worried because parents should have been home. Police checked inside house with daughter. Parents not home.
9-16…160xx 41 NE. Alarm. Son set off alarm. Has permission to be at the house.
9-16…201xx 45 NE. Alarm at church. Church lady confused about codes.
9-19…145xx Bothell Way. Alarm company reported that someone was jiggling the door handle. All was secure.

9-13…34xx NE 158. 911 call disconnected. Police called and caller said he was ok, but not very convincingly.
9-13…145xx Bothell Wy. Called 911 by accident, hung up and left the building. Cops tracked him down when they couldn’t contact him by phone.

Forget about illegal immigrants. Worry about unlicensed drivers.

9-18…184xx 47 Pl NE. Young woman jogging was followed by a driver making obscene gestures. No information to locate him. Police advised her to take a cell phone when she jogs and call 911.
9-19…NE 202/35 NE. Driver drove into a fire hydrant and sheared it off. Notified Shoreline Water.
9-19…175xx Ballinger. Vehicle ran into light pole, which is tilting slightly. Driver said he didn’t think he was going that fast. Car towed. City Light called. Driver to hospital.
9-19…178xx047 NE. Reckless driving. Starting/stopping car every few seconds. Elderly male driver doesn’t see why he’s being called in.

Unfolding drama
9-13…47xx NE 187 Pl. 21:33. Man attempted suicide with acetaminophen. Angry that his wife called the cops. Left the house.
9-14…47xx NE 192. 7:01. Caller said there was a man wandering around the back yard. Police responded, searched the area and found last night’s suicidal male in the woods behind the house. He was alert but disoriented. Taken to hospital.

Child’s Play
9-15…Station. Two boys confessed to egging. Victim will work with parents of boys for resolution.
9-19…Towne Centre. Report of 3 juveniles net fishing at Towne Centre. Could not locate them.

Okay kiddies, alcohol is a drug. You can overdose on it.
9-16…168xx Bothell Way. Report of disabled vehicle. Driver had pulled over to the side so passenger could throw up outside the car.
9-18…40xx NE 165. Caller reports that a girl is outside screaming “No” and lying on the ground. Celebrating her 21st birthday with sister and friends. Drunk and has been sick for two hours. Aid transported her to Northwest Hospital.

9-16…184xx Ballinger Way. Sno County sheriff’s department asked LFP to check on a resident because his tracking device wasn’t working.
9-16…185xx 28 NE. Peddler
9-17…160xx 32 NE. Theft of diamond and ruby ring. Might have been a relative.
9-17…NE 178/28 NE. Low hanging cable line blocking road.
9-17…163xx Bothell Way. Saw subject carrying electronics equipment up the street. Police approached and he grabbed a bicycle and started to leave. When asked for ID, he was using a woman’s Coach brand wallet. Claimed that he found all these things.

9-10…165xx Bothell Wy. Shell manager complained about LFP officer parking in drive and partially blocking street, but couldn’t identify him.
9-10…167xx 30 NE. 4 subjects sitting in car smoking weed. One arrested on warrant and turned over the SPD. Others released with warning.
9-11…172xx Burke Gilman Trail. Bicyclist warned to obey crosswalk signal. She said she was from California and wasn’t paying attention.
9-12…158xx 33 NE. Caller chased off a guy stealing mail. Cops think they know who he is and are waiting for fingerprint results.
9-12…162xx 36 NE. Block watch captain reporting suspicious vehicle.

Odd stuff
9-7….30xx NE 163. Box of ammo left in front of house.
9-8….184xx Ballinger. Tipped abandoned refrigerator over so door could not be opened.
9-10…189xx Lago Pl. Rabanco garbage truck hooked cable line and pulled it down into street. Set up traffic cones to direct traffic and called Comcast.
9-10…38xx NE 155. Received phone call, possibly from India. Spent 4 hours on phone with caller on computer problems. She wired him $95 then thought she had been scammed so shut down debit card.

Women and children first
9-8….25xx NE 195, apartments. Off-duty police officer notified station that he was checking on his female cousin after reports that her boyfriend hit her. Address is in Shoreline, so King County Sheriff’s Office notified. (Ed. there was nothing in the Shoreline blotter.)
9-8….170xx Shore Dr NE. Mom putting son on school bus saw driver on cell phone pass the bus with the Stop paddle out. Tried to chase her down. Cops advised her to call 911 next time.
9-10…192xx 31 Pl NE. Woman called about her friend, who has been receiving phone messages threatening to kill her and her dogs. Friend thinks calls started after her husband’s car was broken in to. Does not want police to help and hope the calls will stop, but she’s afraid to leave her house.

Messy stuff
9-11…25xx NE 184 Pl. House and car significantly egged with damage to front door, side of house and rear of car. Has student at Shorecrest.
9-11…25xx NE 178. Graffiti on sign.

8-30…162xx 38 NE. Male driver followed female driver. She drove to her boyfriend’s house. Boyfriend spoke to the driver, who left.
8-30…165xx Beach Dr NE. Man found his wife dead on the kitchen floor.
8-30…35xx NE 187. Woman reported her husband missing. Suffering from depression, suicidal. He sent a text to a friend that he was at Ocean Shores and stuck there.
8-30…33xx NE 202. Alarm from exterior stair, unknown cause.
8-30…201xx 45 NE. Car prowl. Stole iPod and player.
8-30…163xx 34 NE. Parking issues.
8-30…174xx Ballinger. Tires found at Elks returned to Bent Bike.
8-30…36xx NE 155, apartments. Woman had male friend watching apartment for her but he had been Trespassed by the manager.
172xx Brookside Blvd NE. Traffic stop. Driver arrested on warrant, transported to Seattle.

Tuesday, August 31
8-31…162xx 41 NE. Juvenile knocking at door. Police checked but area clear.
8-31…Towne Centre, Rite-Aid. 3 males in their early 20s set off the door alarm when exiting. Got aggressive and swore at manager. Police followed up on license plate but it belonged to the guy parked next to them.
8-31…158xx 38 NE. Caller worried about burglaries because car was parked on street for three hours. Seems ok – motor cold, car alarm set.
8-31…160xx 35 NE. Elderly woman lives alone. Her car made a strange noise when she started it and she was afraid it was tampered with.  She's having it towed to the mechanic.
8-31…Towne Centre, Sally’s. 2 teenaged girls shoplifted. Employee followed them to Albertson’s but they were gone when police arrived.
8-31…150xx 35 NE. Vehicle stolen from Lynnwood is recovered in LFP.
8-31…145xx Bothell Wy. 2 guys yelling at dancer outside back of building.

Wednesday, September 1
9-1….158xx 36 NE. Man heard breaking glass and thought someone was breaking into his house, but all was well.
9-1….35xx NE 187. Alarm. Homeowner’s mom was at house to take care of 4 dogs. Tripped the alarm and couldn’t get to the keypad fast enough. Promised to move faster.
9-1….Towne Centre. Man wandering around store, talking to himself and yelling at customers.
9-1….162xx 38 NE. Alarm. Front door, upstairs, dining room, garage door.
9-1….148xx Bothell Wy, Watercrest Apts. Woman said roommate took her TV. Dispute over unpaid rent. Cops can’t determine ownership, suggested small claims court.
9-1….17447 37 NE. Doors left unlocked at school.
9-1….NE 178/24 NE. Man looking into vehicles.

Thursday, September 2
9-2….23xx NE Perkins. Mom turned to give a McDonald hash brown to toddler in back seat and drove off the road into a utility pole. Everyone all right.
9-2….33xx NE 182. Everett police asked LFP to check residence for a missing person. The address was the parents who filed the missing persons report. 2 years since they have seen their son.
9-2…29xx NE 182. Tenant given eviction notices but still there and threatening landlord.
9-2….Towne Centre. Informed security it was their right to ask a man displaying a gun to leave. Even though the gun is legal, the Mall is private property.

Friday, September 3
9-3….185xx 37 NE. Graffiti
9-3….184xx 47 Pl NE. 911 misdial.
9-3….175xx 32 NE. Graffiti.
9-3….162xx 38 NE. Car prowl. Theft of purse with wallet, gift cards, credit cards.
9-3….162xx 41 NE. Alarm. Cleaner had key but not codes.
9-3….187xx 35 NE. Group home. Developmentally disabled woman threatened another resident.
9-3….158xx 33 NE. Car prowl. Rifled unlocked car, took about $20 in change and sunglasses.
9-3….Towne Centre. Someone passed counterfeit money at Subway.
9-3….162xx 38 NE. Car prowl. Unlocked car. Took change.
9-3….14830 Bothell Wy, Watercrest Apts. Loud gathering on porch. Told them to keep the noise down.

Saturday, September 4
9-4….40 Pl NE/Ballinger Wy. Motorcycle dumped along road.
9-4….14830 Bothell Wy, Watercrest Apts. Report of man jumping on car roof and males and female yelling and fighting. It was a party.
9-4….170/Bothell Wy. Guy knocked over trash cans and signs, belligerent. Standing in road trying to flag people down for a ride. Police contact, he said he was sorry, they took him home to Kenmore.
9-4….168xx Bothell Wy. Tried to steal 4 cases of beer. Got away with 2.
9-4….Towne Centre, Gold’s Gym. Alarm tripped on front door. New employee.
9-4….168xx Bothell Wy. Man not breathing. Gave CPR instructions to bystanders until Aid arrived and took him to hospital. Police contacted wife, told her how to get to hospital.

9-4….42xx NE 205. Woman lost her purse, not sure where, perhaps Albertson’s. Called back, found it in house.
9-4….26xx NE 169. Caller heard shots.
9-4….28xx NE 195. Report of party. Quiet when police arrived.
9-4….29xx NE 195. Report of party. Family visiting, TV was up and kids were playing.

Sunday, September 5
9-5….174xx Brookside Blvd NE. Fraud. Someone hacked her email and was asking her friends for money.
9-5….36xx NE 169. Elderly woman reported that a prowler was on her property last night. She feels it in her bones that a young person was trying to harass her.
9-5….21xx NE 195. Bicycle left in easement.
9-5….Police station. Woman reported that the day before someone took money from her wallet. Suspects other employees.

9-5….30xx NE 203. Neighbor is cutting branches off caller's tree.

8-23…Towne Centre, Subway. Male customer, talking to himself and the birds, yelling at passing customers, using vulgarities. Police talked to him and advised him to move along to avoid being Trespassed from the Mall.
8-24…187xx 35 NE. Group home. Developmental disabled residents in a dispute, throwing things, being aggressive. One woman will be moved to a different house.
8-26…Towne Centre, Rite-Aid. Man said his daughter bought a binder yesterday and it was on a 2-for-1 sale so he was coming back for the other binder. Said he brought her binder along to compare to the others to get the same one. Police were called for suspicion of theft. He didn’t have a receipt to back his story. Not charged, but Trespassed from store.
8-27…40xx NE 196. Male going door to door claiming to be from Comcast. He was a salesman with no city permit.

Day Tripper
8-28…148xx Bothell Wy. Woman called from outside her home and said her ex-husband threatened to kill her and the kids.  She said he pushed her and that he’s inside with the kids. Police arrive and find that the woman is still drunk from the night before. There is a babysitter in the home as well as the ex-husband and kids. Babysitter confirms there was no pushing and no threats.

You Can’t Do That
8-24…Towne Centre. Graffiti on the compactor behind Albertson’s.
8-25…15348 Bothell Wy, grocery. 2 people stole energy drinks. Not apprehended. Female has rings in her face, male has tattoos.
8-25…167xx 39 Pl NE. Caller said someone rang his doorbell. He asked for a police area check.
8-27…Towne Centre, Sally’s. Staff called police for possible shoplifting but no evidence. They’ve had a lot of shoplifting lately and requested police walk-through.

Dizzy Miss Lizzy
8-24…36xx NE 155. Woman reported receiving threatening text messages. She borrowed $10 from a man and he is asking her to repay. He said he would come by her house to pick it up and she’s thinks that’s a threat. Police declined involvement.

8-25…155xx Bothell Wy. Alarm. Homeowner too drunk to put in the codes,  Friend is with him, but he's too drunk to tell his friend the codes.

Nowhere Man
8-25…174xx Beach Dr NE. Caller said the neighbor stole a cable from his car and he has to get to an AA meeting. Said parents told neighbor to pull the cable. 2nd call from same location: Caller’s sister said brother has been showing up at parent’s home, intoxicated on pain meds, creating a disturbance. Father asked police to have son Trespassed and police transported him from the scene.
8-26…174xx Beach Dr NE. Son who was Trespassed the day before is back at parent’s house, high, trying to break in to the house. Step-mother called police. He took 30 Xanax. Told police he was suicidal. Had cuts on arms. Sent to Stevens hospital. Will book after release.
8-28…188xx 37 NE. Father asked for welfare check on son. His voice mailbox is full. No contact with father or brother since May. Police went to house, could hear male and female voices, television, but no one would answer the door. Neighbors said they saw the son two days before. Father was relieved.
8-29…170xx 44 NE. Father tossed a book and accidentally hit son. Son called police and claimed to have been beaten. When police arrived, he denied the story. Family is remodeling home and tensions are high.

Some Other Guy
8-25…170xx Bothell Wy. Guy A was trying to change lanes and felt the other driver (Guy B) deliberately blocked him, so Guy A sped up and got in front of Guy B, then made his intended turn. Guy B sped through the Shell lot, and ran the stop sign to cut off Guy A. Both stopped at Arco station to yell at each other. Guy A got worried and called 911. Guy B left. Guy A didn’t get an accurate license plate number so cops couldn’t do anything. Guy A said – he just wanted Guy 2 to be made aware of his unsafe driving.

Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey
8-27…175xx Bothell Wy. Caller says there’s a man with a bullhorn in his driveway shining a spotlight on his house and telling him to come out with his hands up. Police found it was a friend of the caller’s son, playing a prank.
8-27…Towne Centre. Traffic accident. One party gave false information.

8-16…169xx 28 NE. Caller says there’s a guy on his property, running, hiding in the bushes. He’s from the house that was raided in the morning. Police search wooded area and find him when his cell phone rings. His girlfriend was calling him. Police know him, he has been arrested in LFP before.
8-16…169xx 26 NE. Second guy from morning raid spotted walking along 26th, shirtless, shoeless. Ran through briar patch toward Shoreline. Advise SL police.
8-16…174xx Ballinger. Mom upset that police chased a suspect through her yard when her 18 year old daughter was home. Felt police should have notified her or told her what was going on. She will speak to city council about it.

While you were sleeping (1995)
8-16…160xx 37 NE. Caller said someone was sleeping in a van in front of his house. Police found van, legally parked, no one in it.

White Collar Blues (1975)
8-16…Albertson’s. Shopper used fraudulent credit card. Police have video.
8-16…Towne Centre. Guy with stolen credit card trying to make purchases and get a $100 gift card. Police have video.
8-16…31xx NE 200. Fraud on bank account going back to June.
8-17…178xx 40 NE. Man called LFP resident, said he was a Social Security Agent and asked for personal information.

Drink-Drank-Drunk (2005)
8-18…Albertson’s. A drunk guy at Albertson’s knocked over a table of onions, then got upset when the cashier wouldn’t sell him beer. Went to gas station, bought beer.
8-21…195xx 38 NE. 911 hang-up. On call-back, woman first said she hit the wrong button, then told police her husband was drunk, they were fighting and she got worried. Police visited them, gave them Domestic Violence information and told them to go to bed. Listened outside 15 minutes, fight didn’t start up again.

Dirty Harry (1971)
8-17…Station. The daughter of the owner of a LFP-based (parking lot) striping company called to report their suspicion that one of their employees had been dealing drugs. After he was fired, they discovered 1000 text messages and contacts on his company phone, unrelated to business. Police explained that the crime was not related to LFP just because the business was based there. Her father (the owner) called back, very upset that police would not investigate.

Strangers Among Us (1992)
8-17…145xx Bothell. Report of transient at bus stop acting strangely. Transient said he was ok.
8-18…Mall. Woman left wallet at Great Harvest. Two females said it was theirs and the employee gave it to them without verifying ownership.
8-21…40xx NE 178. Suspicious guy in Comcast uniform. Comcast employee.

Animal House (1978)
8-17…182xx Ballinger. Sick raccoon on back deck. Told to call PAWS.
8-17…155xx 35 NE. Barking dog in back yard. Owners refused to identify themselves.
8-18…28xx NE 178. Dog escaped when owners opened doors for ventilation. Dog found and returned to owners.
8-20…Towne Centre. Two dogs left in car in sun; couldn’t find owner.

The Rifleman (1958)
8-17…174xx Ballinger. Man does target practice in back yard with an air pressure gun. Neighbor told him to stop or she’d call the police. He was verifying that he was in the right. Police said to tell neighbor she should call 911 if she continues to have a problem.
8-18…37xx NE 165. BB or pellet shot through van window.
8-20…174xx Beach Dr NE. Neighbor shooting a gun in the back yard, looks like a rifle. He was trying to scare off geese with a BB gun.

Stop that Noise (1935)
8-18…50xx NE 178. Garage band.
8-20…40xx NE 197. Report of men shouting. Party in neighbor’s back yard.
8-21…30xx NE 205, group home. Resident got mad when told he couldn’t use the phone without a caretaker. Had a tantrum and looked like he was out of control.
8-22…184xx 40 Pl. Landlord and tenant yelling at each other. Both have lived on property in separate houses for 18 years. Landlord angry about the tenant’s garbage and mess. The landlord is hard of hearing and talks loudly anyway. Police calmed them.

Spirited Away (2001)
8-19…148xx Bothell. Father in Kitsap asked for welfare check on daughter. Concerned about her boyfriend. Daughter no longer lives at that address.

Thieves Like Us (1974)
8-20…Towne Centre, Sally’s. Two women stole hair color and ran from store.

And baby makes three (1949)
8-18…36xx NE 155, apartments. Woman wants help getting her husband to leave. They have a new baby, lots of stress, and they were arguing.
