With no testing of air quality in the highly developed, geographic basin called Kenmore, the "siege" of heron in Kenmore has been depleted from hundreds of nests to the pitiful few in this photo. The heron, wildlife and our health are the collateral damage of the unchecked, untested pollution of air and dense development in a geographic pocket at the northend of Lake Washington.
