A young man, driving under the influence at high speeds, slammed into a car mother of two young girls was killed. A couple of years ago a friend of mine was killed in Edmonds under similar circumstances: high speeds and a young driver under the influence. So tragic. If you don't start at birth, the child ends up like this driver. Probably has a bunch of teachers with similar stories about lack of awareness of others and acting out to get the attention his parents didn't give him. I hope this child's parents are real proud. I wish we lived in a society with stricter laws. They should do jail time, lots of community service, have their license revoked for a couple years, etc. Consequences deter bad behavior.
