Shoreline Police collect 211 guns at buyback event

Our recent GUN BUYBACK event was a success! Thanks to the amazing support from our community, we achieved the following:

Firearms collected: 211, and distributed $34,050 in gift cards.

Thank you to our partners, Public-Health King County, Shoreline Community College and King County Sheriff’s Office.

    Are these guns destroyed or resold?

    <<...the King County Sherrif's Office will destroy it in accordance with state law. Firearms that are classified as antiques, curios, or relics by state and federal law will not be destroyed. These items will be auctioned off and shipped out of state.>>
