So it turns out that the company running the survey for the city of Shoreline only sent the survey to a random sample and if your name is not listed, your answers will be discarded.
Not good. I know this was an unintentional mistake but some of us who filled out the lengthy survey provided very personal information (name, address, phone#, email & demographics. This was in order to qualify for the $500 drawing. Can you follow up regarding assurance that this information will truly be "discarded?"
All the surveys went to the company running the survey for the city. They will protect all personal information whether it is counted or not. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions. Remember that you can always send information to the city council.
I filled it out and really couldn't understand how it could be useful. There was no space given for comments explaining why you answered as you did. I thought the personal questions were too personal so I skipped them. Hope the city isn't paying a ton for this.
