If you subscribe to our email edition, the chances are excellent that your email provider will lop off the end of some of the editions.
Always go to the very end of each edition. On the bottom left you will find these words:
Click the blue link "View entire message". The entire edition will open in a webpage. Page down past the articles you have seen until you get to the articles you haven't seen.
Gmail, right? "Send feedback to Google" using the question mark in a circle in the upper right of the frame. Next to the gear. "Suggest an idea".
Please add a "[Message clipped] View entire message" link at the top emails when an email is too long to be read in the Inbox. Currently, you have to start reading the message then learn that it is too long, click a link that opens a new window, and find where to left off. This annoyance could be avoided if there were a long message warning at the beginning of the email.
Perhaps if enough people request this change it will get some attention.
It isn't just Gmail, but it's one of the most difficult. Those are great suggestions but I can't tell ahead of time when an edition is too long. The "message clipped" is individual to each email / subscription, and it has to do with the number of mb and not with the actual length.
One more reason to not get more email - I just make it a daily habit to go to the website, like drinking coffee in the morning or brushing my teeth at bedtime.
