The vehicle was stopped from flipping by a ~30 year old maple which will likely have to be replaced.
Getting the vehicle out dislodged two 4-man boulders from the rockery and destroyed plants in the path.
Shoreline Fire responded.

‘Joyrider’ sounds like fun. This was not. Perhaps a different word like, hmm…thief or delinquent?
ReplyDeleteMore important that the kids are ok instead of worrying about your bushes or trees.
ReplyDeletePlant more Maple trees keep everyone safe
ReplyDeletePlant more Maple trees, keep to keep shoreline safe.
ReplyDeleteWow, worried more about trees/shrubs/boulders than the safety of the kids. Ridiculous! Teens will make bad decisions, not all bad decisions come from bad kids/bad parents. Wish this article had more compassion for the teens involved and their safely than the landscaping.
ReplyDeleteI know this family. They are lovely and amazing people. This was a kid that made a mistake. And yep- the worst of it is some property damage. Glad all are ok.
ReplyDeleteGood thing no other driver or pedestrian was hurt. Dangerous for our community.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad the kids are ok
