Shorewood football squeaks past Lynnwood, 31-30

The Shorewood offensive line blocks left as number 2, sophomore quarterback Aaron Miller, turns to hand-off in the Friday night game (September 10) during the first quarter.  Shorewood High School had their first victory this season as they beat Lynnwood High School 31 to 30.

Shorewood's sophomore quarterback Chris Parker, #7, hands off to junior running back Eugene Holley, #25, late in the 4th quarter for a touchdown to tie the score at 30 to 30 in the game against Lynnwood.   Kicker Tanner Jones, #21, made the try for point to seal Shorewood's victory.

Shorewood players and fans celebrate the victory, which ends a long losing streak.   The team looks very competitive under its new head coach, Rob Petschl, and his staff.
