What is wrong with that? Well, they plan on surplusing the 3-year old maintenance facility at Ronald Wastewater in 2018 if and when they acquire Ronald Wastewater mere blocks from City Hall and instead will issue bonds (i.e. debt) to pay for a facility that will need a complete rebuild that is a couple of miles away from nearly every city facility and nearby park and will surplus a nearly brand new facility that is already paid for (Ronald Wastewater has no debt).

Do you call that efficient? I don't. The city wants to spend millions of dollars ($5 million will turn into $10-15 after interest) on a facility located far from city hall on another facility instead of using a nearly new facility with no debt. Only in the fairy tale land of city hall do they call that efficient.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
