Starting Tuesday - learn to sing barbershop
Seattle Shores Chorus invites women of all ages to participate in a series of free singing workshops in Shoreline culminating in a holiday performance.

This annual event is a great way to learn more about Sweet Adelines barbershop singing in an inclusive, supportive environment.

No experience is necessary! The performance will be a low-key, free event for friends and family in Shoreline.

Seattle Shores Director Bonnie Jeanne Massey will place each guest in the vocal part best suited for her voice. Sheet music for several popular holiday songs will be provided, but ability to read music is not a requirement. In just a few weeks, participants will be singing beautiful a cappella four-part harmony — and having fun doing it.

If you can’t make all the sessions, that’s okay — just come when you can. RSVPs by email are appreciated but not necessary.

The chorus meets on Tuesdays, Oct. 17 – Nov. 28, 6:00 to 7:30pm (except Oct. 31) at the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church, 14724 1st Ave NE, Shoreline 98155

The performance is Tuesday, Dec. 5, 7:00pm.

Numerous Shoreline residents are members of Seattle Shores Chorus, which was founded 63 years ago as the first Sweet Adelines chorus in the Seattle area. Guests will receive a warm welcome.
