Shorewood girls' swim comes through on depth to beat Glacier Peak

Thursday, September 14, 2017

Shorewood Girls’ Swimming and Diving had a gutsy win Thursday over 4A Glacier Peak.

The T-birds won only a single event- the 200 Free Relay (Deanna Han, Kaili Jacobsen, Anna Pitts and Samantha Rand), but came through on depth to beat GP 95-90.

Shorewood’s District Qualifier list is growing with current qualifiers: Elle Fredrickson, Kayla Gowey, Deanna Han, Greta Lara-Kerr, Emily McDowell, Kathleen Nguyen, Anna Pitts, Timony Sherry, and Katie Taylor.

Shorewood is now 1-1, following a loss to 4A Jackson on Tuesday.
