Eat good - do good -food trucks rally to fight global hunger Sunday

Saturday, August 26, 2017

Twenty million people around the world are on the brink of starvation. On Sunday, August 27, you can do something simple to help — eat lunch.

Join World Concern and SPIRIT 105.3, along with 9 of Seattle’s top food trucks in the fight against global hunger at the Mobile Food Fight for Hunger.

Now in its 5th year, the Mobile Food Fight for Hunger is a delicious way to do some good in the world. SPIRIT 105.3 is hosting the event, with a portion of every food truck purchase benefitting World Concern’s hunger programs in places like Somalia and South Sudan, where millions of hungry children and families are suffering right now.

Don’t miss this chance to taste food from some of Seattle’s most popular food trucks, including: Where Ya At Matt (New Orleans-style creole), Nosh (British inspired grub), Street Donuts (Donuts re-imagined), Bread and Circuses (Gastro pub Eats and Carnival Treats), Pilgrim Coffee,  Athenas (Greek), Thai-U-Up, Island Blends Acai, and Kiss My Grits (Filipino). Here's more information about the food.

You can feel good about your purchase, knowing that you’re helping feed hungry children today with emergency nutrition and long-term with sustainable sources of food for their families.

Mobile Food Fight for Hunger Sunday, August 27, 2017, 11:00am to 3:00pm at SPIRIT 105.3 and World Concern Headquarters CRISTA Ministries Campus 19303 Fremont Ave N. Shoreline 98133.
