Transit Station design open house May 24

Friday, May 12, 2017

The station designs for the Sound Transit stations to be built at 185th (Shoreline) and 145th (called 'Seattle') are 60% complete.

Sound Transit is holding an open house on Wednesday, May 24, at Shorewood High School, 17300 Fremont Ave N, 98133.

You can stop by at any time between 6-8pm but there will be a brief presentation at 6:10pm.

There will be displays and people to talk to about the station designs, the Lynnwood Link project as a whole, impacts, corridor design and related projects, and public art.

This is your opportunity to give them feedback, while the designs are still in process.

If you can't make this meeting, there is one in Mountlake Terrace on June 28 at the Nile Shrine County Club (across the street from Shoreline), and another to be announced in Lynnwood.

There's also an online option at http://lynnwoodlink.participate.online

When will ST3 address the need to remove the Burke Gilman Trail and return it to much needed rail, preferably light? Considering how many people it could serve with minimal costs on an already pre-existing footprint/rail bed, it's foolish not to see this as a greater necessity and cost saver than a to be built system.
