Multiple police departments work together to capture burglar in Shoreline

On Thursday May 11th at 8:30am, Shoreline Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 19500 block of 23rd Ave NE.

A vigilant neighbor noticed a person behaving suspiciously around her neighbor's house and called 911 immediately.

The suspect fled on foot as officers arrived. Units from Kenmore and the Lake Forest Park Police Departments were called in to help with a perimeter search.

A K9 team from Lynnwood Police Department was called to assist as well.

A Lake Forest Park officer spotted the suspect and took him into custody without incident.

The suspect committed two other burglaries in the area and had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
