LFP Citizens Commission will focus on Seniors in the community

The next meeting of the volunteer Lake Forest Park Citizens Commission is Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 2-4pm. Third Place Commons, in the Stadler Room, if available, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park.

Theme for May is: "Seniors". Meeting time is 2:00pm so Seniors might be able to attend and participate.

This meeting is free and open to everyone, regardless of age or place of residence.

This meeting will have more of an open format, so that we can listen to the needs, concerns, and ideas, of the Seniors in the community.

Some things that we focus more on: (because of the four Retired Commissions in LFP)
  • Transportation
  • Environmental Quality
  • Economic Development
  • Community Services- Including, but not limited to Parks, Recreation, Open Space, Trails (PROST), 1% Art Program, Affordable Housing, Cultural Services, Lake Access
  • Human Services, Public Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Veterans, Seniors, Youth, and Volunteer Opportunities.
