Friday, November 11, 2016

On Tuesday, November 15 from 7-9pm at City Hall Room 301, 17500 Midvale Ave N, the Echo Lake Neighborhood Association will hear from three different speakers.

Tanya McGee, the Region Lead with Sound Generations (formerly known as Senior Services) will talk about resources available in the community for older adults, younger disabled adults, and caregivers.

Topics covered will include staying independent in your home, stretching your dollar, and support for caregivers.

Eduardo Aban from Shoreline Public Works will explain the paving project on the Echo Lake section of Meridian. At the same time, problem street trees will be removed and replaced with appropriate trees and the sidewalk will be repaired where it has been ruptured by tree roots. Curb cuts will be installed on the corners.

Marla Miller, Deputy Superintendent of Shoreline Schools, will talk about plans to replace the middle schools, and the school levy in February.

The Echo Lake Neighborhood is in the north central portion of Shoreline, bounded by Aurora, 205th, I-5, and 185th.
