LFP Citizens' Commission Tuesday

The Lake Forest Park Citizens' Commission will have its 6th Public Meeting- Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 3rd Place Commons on the upper level of the Town Center, intersection of Bothell and Ballinger Ways, Lake Forest Park, 17171 Bothell Way NE.


All are invited to attend, bring cookies (optional), and ideas. Social at 6:30pm, meeting at 7pm. After meeting will be at the Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill. (9:10-10pm).

The Citizens' Commission is a private group not affiliated with the City of Lake Forest Park.

Included on the Agenda will be items addressing the unfinished Work Plans of four retired LFP City Commissions, including Preparing a Draft-Final Agenda for the Oct. 25th, Sound Transit 3 Forum event, happening at 3rd Place Commons, 7-8:30p.m. (Transportation Spoke)
We will also introduce a Trails element, to our Parks, Recreation, and Open Space(P.R.O.S.), (T-PROS), or (SPORT). Also, Briefly discuss the Mayor Johnson's Parks Task Force Report.
We will give a quick update on the Tree Moratorium, Tree Board, and progress of the Tree Ordinance Update Process. (Environmental Quality Spoke)
We will continue a discussion about Emergency Preparedness and neighborhood mapping, including Crime Prevention, Public Safety, and Human Services.(Community Services Spoke).
Lastly, covering the "Signage" Code for Lake Forest Park, Commercial & Home-Businesses. (Economic Development Spoke)

At the Tuesday meeting, last minute planning, and outreach, will continue on the Sound Transit 3(ST3) Forum/Town Hall meeting for October 25th, 2016.

We will continue to create Sub-Groups (Spokes), to address issues of community concern, develop additional community networking opportunities, and continue resource sharing. We will be also be reviewing a proposed neighborhood map of the city.
