BALNA to get City updates at their meeting on Monday

Friday, September 30, 2016

October 3, 2016, 7:00 - 8:30 pm at the North City Water District, 1519 NE 177th St, Shoreline 98155. Lots of parking space.

Join our October Ballinger community meeting and gain important information on City activities related to our neighborhood. We'll have two guest speakers:

Speaker #1: Maureen Colaizzi, Shoreline Dept Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, will update us on the following projects:
1. Urban Forest Health Mgt Program Stewardship - Brugger’s Bog and Ballinger Open Space sites
2. Shoreline PROS Plan Update: Nov 1st and Nov 15th Public Workshops
3. North Maintenance Base Design and 25th Avenue NE sidewalk upgrades update
4. 25th Avenue Flood Reduction Project

Speaker #2: Sara Lane, Shoreline's Administrative Services Director, will provide a short presentation on City's request for a levy renewal. Sara is only presenting factual information about the levy. She will not and cannot advocate a position “for” or “against” the levy. In just a few weeks you'll be voting on the City's levy renewal request ("Proposition 1"). Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about it - and ask questions - to help inform your ballot decision.

Ballinger Neighborhood Association (BALNA) is an organization of neighbors existing solely to benefit our community, seeking to capture the best of community life, believing that neighbors need neighbors, and embracing our urban diversity and all who call the Ballinger Neighborhood "Home.
