Free Echo Lake Walk this Saturday

Join walk leader Debbie Yoro this Saturday at 9:30am for a nice morning walk exploring the roadways and pathways connecting the Shoreline Pool to Echo Lake Park. We’ll check out the new pedestrian / bike trail on 195th St and get a good look at newly renovated Echo Lake Park.

The guided walk begins at the Shoreline Pool, 19030 1st Ave NE, and is approximately 2 miles in length and rated easy, making is suitable for all, including wheelchairs and strollers. It should take about 60 minutes.

The free group walk is part of the City of Shoreline’s “Shoreline Walks” community walking program helping Shoreline adults stay active, meet new people (or connect with old friends) and feel safer and more confident exploring our city by foot.

No need to sign up, just show up with your walking shoes! More information on Shoreline Walks here or call Recreation Specialist Marianne Johnson at 206-801-2638.

Saturday, August 13th, 9:30am, Echo Lake Walk
