Update on Sgt. Wing Woo's recovery

Friends of Shoreline Police Sgt. Wing Woo posted this update on his condition as he recovers from a traumatic surfing accident while on a Hawaiian vacation with his family. (See previous story)

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support for Sgt. Woo and his family. He has made some positive progress this week and we wanted to share! He underwent surgery a few days ago to relieve pressure on his spine. We are hopeful this will aid in his full and complete recovery. 

In addition, he is able to be off the ventilator for several hours at a time. He is awake and alert. As he continues to fight for a full recovery we are mindful that every small positive step is because of your prayers, support and his strength. Our heartfelt appreciation is beyond words.
