Thursday Roundtable: Updated Strategies on Resumés and Cover Letters for Mature Job Seekers

Keeping abreast of the job seeking trends is a big part of staying in the game.

  • How do we spot outdated resumé conventions?
  • Is a one-page resumé best?
  • Two pages?
  • What should and shouldn’t be included in the work history?
  • Objective Statement or Summary?
We’ll also talk about sharing measurable achievements and infusing a “personal brand” into your letter, your resume, and your business cards.

Our new room for the summer is high ceilings, airy – and with windows! Please join us - and with the usual coffee and snacks, compliments of Central Market.
