Police continue to investigate shooting at Echo Lake Park

Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting at Echo Lake Park on Saturday night.

Police are following several leads, but at this time do not believe the incident was a random act.

A 16-year old boy was shot in the neck during an altercation. He survived and was transported to Harborview Hospital.

Police will release more information about the incident once they have concluded their investigation.

The case is being handled by the Major Crimes unit of the King County Sheriff's Office.
