Youth wanted for City of Shoreline Boards

Monday, May 2, 2016

Are you a Shoreline resident between the ages of 15 and 19? Are you looking for a leadership opportunity or community service hours?

Do you want to help shape the future of Shoreline by having a say in the City's parks, recreation programs, and events or libraries?

If you want to gain experience in civic government and make a difference in your community, then become a member of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS)/Tree Board or the Shoreline Library Board.

The City is accepting applications for two youth members on the PRCS/Tree Board and one youth member on the Library Board. The terms are for one-year, September through June, and may be renewed up to four times. The deadline to apply is May 13 at 5:00pm.
