At April 27 breakfast meeting of Lake Forest Park Rotary, LFP Police Chief Steve Sutton presented the club with the LFP Police Department’s 2016 Community Appreciation Award.

The award is given each year to groups or individuals who have made significant contributions in support of the Department’s many community service programs.

The LFP Club has been an enthusiastic partner with the Department on numerous projects including the Safe Harbors Domestic Violence Fund, Shop with a Cop, Chief for a Day, and the Department’s annual Salmon Bake to benefit Special Olympics.
