Gunshots or fireworks - not certain

Loud bangs, which sound like gun shots or fireworks, have been heard in both Lake Forest Park and Shoreline in the past four days.

On Saturday evening, Lake Forest Park police received calls about a man with a gun in the area of 4000 block of 178th.

Officers from Lake Forest Park PD, Shoreline, and Bothell responded

At the same time, they received calls about fireworks in the same area.

When officers responded, they were unable to locate any of the reported activity. A search of the area by all officers involved did not yield any evidence.

On Monday at 5:15 pm May 9, Shoreline police responded to Seattle Sun Tan in Ballinger Village, 20224 Ballinger Way NE. The reporting person heard a loud bang.

Several officers responded and did not find anything.
