The Shorewood Track and Field team competed in a Dual Meet on Thursday, 4-14-16 at Shoreline Stadium against a tough Henry Jackson team, losing both the Men’s and Women’s matchups. Team scores for the meet are shown below. Full meet results are available here.

SHOREWOOD VS JACKSON


Shorewood was a bit depleted in the meet as several runners were held out to be better prepared for the Oregon Relays at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, OR on Friday and Saturday. Despite this, there were many outstanding performances and Personal Records (PRs) by Shorewood athletes in the meet.

Men’s highlights include Brett Burgess-Hunt winning in the Javelin Throw, Luke Gersmehl Hudson placing 2nd in the Shot Put and Discus Throw, Andy Johnson placing 2nd in the Pole Vault and Siem Hailai finishing 3rd in the 3200m run.

Women’s highlights include Jasmine Pollard winning the Shot Put and the Discus, Claira Petit winning the High Jump, Emily Farden placing 2nd in the 1600m run, Timony Sherry placing 2nd in the Shot Put, Eileen Beres placing 3rd in the 1600m run, Mai Francisco placing 3rd in the 100m dash, Elisha Klco finishing 3rd in the 3200m run and Abby Bickford placing 3rd in the Shot Put.
