Shorewood athlete named Athlete of the Week

Shorewood’s number 1 singles, freshman Sasha Gaeth, was selected as one of the Everett Herald Prep Athletes of the Week for April 4-9.

She is undefeated in eight matches and has not lost a set in helping the T-Birds to a 5-0 tie for first place with Glacier Peak in WesCo South 3A. Shorewood hosts Glacier Peak at Shorewood Courts Tuesday April 12th at 3:30pm in a match up of the top teams in WesCo South.

Sasha Gaeth, Shorewood Girls Tennis

Gaeth won her match 6-0, 6-1 over Shorecrest’s Anna Burke to help the Thunderbirds to a 5-2 win and stay unbeaten in league play.
