Progress for most - no power still for others

Progress had been made by 3:30am on Monday morning. Ballinger was mostly restored, except for a few customers. Richmond Beach and Innis Arden west of around 12th NW were back online.

But residents of large areas of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park were hoping that their cell phone change would last long enough for the alarm to wake them up in the morning.

KUOW posted a photo of a home in the 19000 block of 33rd Ave NE in Lake Forest Park where wind peeled back the roof.

Classes were canceled for the day at Shorewood High School and Einstein Middle School. Two hour late starts at Parkwood Elementary and Highland Terrace Elementary.

Just scattered outages in Shoreline by midday Monday but a large section with around 275 customers around Horizon View in LFP was still out.
