Patty Pan launching outdoor eatery aimed at students

Soon to be open: Corncake Corner
in the Briarcrest Neighborhood

"Soft" opening Thursday with free samples

"Corncake Corner" is opening an outdoor venue on Thursday, next to its parent, Patty Pan restaurant.

With food geared towards high school lunch and after school snacks, they are hoping to be the food place of choice for nearby elementary, middle school, and high school students. 

This coming Thursday, October 2, is the soft opening with complimentary food, from noon to 3:30pm.

The official opening is Monday, October 6. From then on, they will be open school days from noon to 3:30pm. 

Patty Pan (with Corncake Corner is on the corner of 27th Ave NE and NE 158th St.

What a great idea! I hope that some entrepreneur does similarly over by Shorewood High School.
