Even at the end of the day, people were still working

Densmore Pathway organizers were delighted to have 19 volunteers who planned to be there and several more who were walking by and were lured in by the joy of pulling weeds at their work party on Saturday, October 18.

Ellen Wood said that "One guy came by pushing a lawnmower, saying that he was on the way to the lawn mower repair shop. He mowed a stretch of lawn while he was there!"

Coffee and snacks were set up under the canopy

It really takes many hands to keep the pathway maintained in the lush greenery of the Northwest and the Pathway is an entire block long. Having around two dozen people at the same time, made it a pleasurable task.
