Incumbent Democratic 46th District State Rep, Gerry Pollet is running unopposed for re-election.

Pollet joined the legislature by appointment late in 2011 and won a full two-year term in 2012.

The 46th Legislative District includes Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and northeast Seattle.

Here is Pollet’s introductory campaign statement:

Gerry Pollet (Prefers Democratic Party)
I ask to continue as your State Representative, to make our tax system more fair, champion schools, increase access to higher education, protect our environment and consumers.
I’ve always stood up to special interests to do what’s right. That’s my pledge to you. That’s why I led efforts to make government more transparent while watching your tax dollars, close special interest loopholes and won an end to predatory towing.
Our children deserve lower class sizes and affordable higher education.
Endorsed: 46th District Democrats, Labor Council, our teachers, Sierra Club/WCV, NARAL, AG Bob Ferguson, Kenmore Mayor David Baker, hundreds of neighbors.
