Opportunity for local businesses to advertise at Brew Fest

From the 4-Corner Brew Fest Committee

Shoreline’s 4-Corner Brew Fest is a great way to support and advertise local community businesses.

In these challenging economic times it feels good to know, support and purchase items and services from individuals in your community who are practicing entrepreneurship.

Do you have a local business?

The 4-Corner Brew Fest is a great opportunity for Shoreline’s small businesses to shine out and let your neighbors know what you are selling and creating. It is a fun atmosphere to share what you do and how you manage your business. Nikki Mize of Whidbey Island Bank, and a supporter of the BrewFest every year, shared that " Brew Fest is a better way to meet the community and is more fun than a networking meeting."

As an advertising business at the Brew Fest you can have your own banner hanging in the courtyard and an opportunity to table information about your wares. We will post your information on our website, on Facebook, on Twitter, and in the Brew Fest Program. You can talk to the happy “Brew Festers” and know that you are also supporting your community, four neighborhood associations and the PTA Council  “The WORKS” program.

We can offer the following ways for our local businesses to have advertising privileges:
  • Contribute financially to Brew Fest
  • Contribute gift cards or other swag for door prizes
  • Have your employees volunteer for a shift (they can wear your business shirts!)
Brew Fest is a beautiful ‘win-win’ opportunity for all of us in Shoreline!

Are you a consumer?

As consumers, your purchasing items and services within your own locality, supports your neighbors and and community by circulating money back into your own neighborhood community. Purchasing items or services from your local businesses also supports familiar values, rather than purchasing items or services from some offshore or unknown locality with unknown principles.

It is also a great way to meet and make stronger bonds with your neighbors and friends.

Please contact Lisa Surowiec or Steve Kerr if you would like to join in and advertise your local business in this fun and worthy event. Shoreline is a great place to live and we want to be known for our support of local entrepreneurs.

See you Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the 4-Corners Brew Fest!

BrewFest is a volunteer organization from four neighborhood associations in Shoreline - Hillwood, Richmond Highlands, Innis Arden, and Richmond Beach.
