July 1-7, 2013

Every week - death investigations, suicide attempts, domestic violence investigations, child abuse, violent people with mental issues, arrest warrants, drivers with suspended license, runaway kids, wandering seniors

A - Invited guest stole a check from victim's checkbook and used it

Alcohol and pedestrians - Person too drunk to stand up taken for detox / Person at Goodwill sent for detox / Drunken male at 199th Aurora

Alcohol and cars - Driver had revoked license and no interlock device

Animals - Woman was walking her standard poodle when her dog was attacked by a pit bull 160xx Burke N, both poodle and owner were bitten

Arrest - Arrested for resisting arrest after a traffic stop for expired tabs 155th and Aurora / Subject contacted at bus stop at 155th Aurora at 10:55pm had multiple warrants, including felony

Assault - Man uses his car to run down a person he says raped his partner ten years ago / Victim stabbed in ribs during robbery attempt, takes self to hospital 196xx 19th NE 4:36pm / Man identified who shot at couple as they left apartment at Heatherstone Apts

Burglary - Jewelry and electronics stolen from 145xx 22nd NW; entry through unlocked window / 185xx 15th NW house ransacked / Crawled in window 155xx Densmore N / 180xx 8th NE

Car prowl - Car parked at Hideaway Card Room, CDs and cell phone stolen / Car parked at Haggan's

Cars and parts stolen – Car stolen from Crest parking lot / Subaru stolen from Hillcrest Apts / Car stolen from park n ride at 175th and Meridian, another vehicle attempted / Car stolen from parking lot 11xx N 183rd / Stolen car left in Wells Fargo parking lot, other car stolen

Crime in public places - Illegal dumping of construction materials at Hamlin Park

Drugs - Person was at Sears smoking crack from a pipe

Family business - Son assaulted and threatened to kill parents

Found - Subject tries to sell stolen BMX bicycle on Craig's List and is arrested at meet up /

Fraud - Wallet stolen and credit cards used, but no evidence of break in /

Larceny, public places – Shoplifting at Fred Meyer / Man locked his bicycle outside Goodwill and it was gone when he came out / Woman left her wallet at Ballinger Village Starbucks but it was stolen / Theft from Sears Outlet / Shoplifting at Walgreen's 145th Aurora / Shoplifting at Ballinger Rite Aid / Victim's phone taken from couch at Goodwill / Left cell phone at counter of Bank of America - stolen / Wallet stolen from car in parking lot of Walgreen's 175th 15th NE / Shoplifting Ballinger Rite Aid

Larceny, private - Jewelry stolen from home safe, probably daughter / Plant and pot stolen from victim's yard in landscaped area by street / Bicycle stolen from car rack at Ballinger Commons

Lost - Police contacted individual walking down Aurora with no shoes; had been traveling from SE Asia and was lost

Mail theft - none this week

Mental issues - Police had to taser a suicidal subject to subdue him to take him for involuntary commitment

Noise - Couple has screaming battle in street

Obstructing - Neighbor called to report loud argument in townhouse next door, with sounds of physical altercation and glass breaking. Resident refused to open door to police officer, who was injured trying to investigate. Man arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Suspicious - People in cars at Hillwood Park after hours

Vandalism - Two vehicles keyed in driveway at 168xx 1st NW / Mailbox damaged at 155xx Ashworth / Windshield broken on car 12xx NE 148th / Tags on public property on Carlyle-Hall Road / House egged at 6xx NW 181st Ct / Purple pen on guard rail at 151st 10th NE / White paint in men's room Cromwell Park

Violation of court order - Person is served Vulnerable Adult Protection Order and is arrested for violating it hours afterward

Z - Mischief - Party with underaged drinking and fireworks / three guys lighting off a "mountain of fireworks" at Shoreline Park n Ride 18821 Aurora / Kids on beach at Richmond Beach with alcohol and marijuana
