2012 Richmond Little League

From RLL

In early January, Richmond Little League was the victim of a robbery at the Aldercrest Annex- our equipment storage facility. It is believed that scavengers broke into the annex looking for copper and metals as they broke through a wall to gain access to our equipment.

The thieves made off with items that would be easy to re-sell including three generators, two PA systems, two electrical pitching machines, numerous mechanical pitching machines, boxes of new bats and baseballs, and umpire equipment.

Luckily we still have our uniforms and enough team equipment to get our season started. The impact to the League will be felt more at the end of our season when we play our tournaments, especially this year since we are hosting the Big League State Tournament at Meridian Park in July.

If you have any information or would like to help in any way contact John Lynch.

On a more positive note there is still plenty of time to register for the upcoming season.  Assessments are scheduled for February 9 for the Major and Minor divisions, but registration will continue throughout the month of February.
