SCC Men’s Basketball Beats South Puget Sound CC 111-93

The Dolphin Basketball Team defeated South Puget Sound Community College on Sunday afternoon 111-93 at the Pierce College Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament in Lakewood, WA.

Sophomore Jesse Vaughan scored 48 for the SCC squad along with 11 rebounds and 7 steals. He had significant help from Joe Bodman who had 21 rebounds and 17 points on the night and Will Acromite who scored 19 points. SCC was dominate on the boards, out rebounding SPSCC 62-34. SCC led 51-39 at halftime and never looked back.

SCC captures 3rd Place at the tournament and is 3-1 on the season so far. SCC is averaging 110.5 points per game so far.

SCC travels to Spokane next weekend to play in the Community College of Spokane/North Idaho College Basketball Tournament.
