Shorewood football team drops record to 2-7 with Thursday home loss to Sedro Woolley, 28-7

The Shorewood football team dropped its record to 2-7 Thursday, Oct. 27, with a 28-7 home loss to Sedro Woolley.

The Thunderbirds will take a 2-7 record (2-6 Wesco 3A) into their final game, Wednesday or Thursday, Nov. 2 or 3 against a yet-to-be-announced Wesco 4A team.

In the 28-7 loss to Sedro Woolley, Eugene Holley scored Shorewood’s only touchdown on a 3-yard run in the second quarter.

Sedro Woolley takes a 7-2 record (0-2 Northwest Conference 3A) into its final game.

Earlier, the Shorewood junior varsity had dropped its record to 3-3 with a 55-26 loss at Glacier Peak.

Monday, Oct. 24, and the Thunderbird “C” team had dropped its Wesco 3A record to 2-5 (2-6 overall) with a 32-27 home loss to Glacier Peak Wednesday, Oct. 26.
