The Shorewood wrestling team defeated Glacier Peak 38-33 Thursday to secure it's first winning season in five years. The victory gave Shorewood a final dual meet record of 4-3 in the Wesco 3A league and 7-6 overall.

Freshman Chris Lee started the match in convincing fashion, pinning his opponent in 40 seconds.

From there the Thunderbirds surged to a 35-0 lead by dominating the lower weights.

Senior Kyle Floresca had the match of the evening by defeating returning state place winner Joshua St Marie 10-8.
