Blood Moon over Shoreline

Chad Coleman is a staff photographer for the Sound Publishing group of local newspapers and online news, most of which have the word "Reporter" in their names. Chad has a photo blog and I think he lives in Shoreline.

In any event, he picked Shoreline as the spot to doze in his car with the moon roof open to take photos of the lunar eclipse on December 20.  

Called the Blood Moon, or Hunter's Moon, the lunar eclipse began on the 20th but finished on the 21st, the Winter Solstice.

Chad's photos are spectacular and a view from our own area - if only we had been lounging in the back yard that night to see it.
